Best Western Eastland

Room was clean, A/C great, check-in was easy even though I got in late near midnight. I have to come back to Abilene for work, will definitely book here again.

We had to extend our stay due to a death in the family and front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was much better than LaQuinta and the breakfast staff were very pleasant. It's also very handy to have a Walmart just across from the hotel within very easy walking distance. There are also several fast food restaurants close to the hotel.

The room was not clean. The toilet needed to be flushed when I arrived. I found out the body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty when I got into the shower and was already wet. The in room phone was broke so I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. When I gave the front desk my feedback while checking out she said they were short cleaning staff and apologized and then just walked away. I definitely will think twice before reserving a room there in the future. I would recommend everyone doing a thorough inspection of the room when you arrive. If I hadn’t prepaid I would have asked for a total refund!

Hotel was nice, we enjoyed our stay

The room was spacious and pretty clean. Bed was a little hard. TV was tiny. But overall not a bad stay till checkout when I got a call accusing us of stealing their pillow. Both me and my wife use special pillows for medical reasons that cost over $100 each. The lady that called was super rude and didn’t listen or care when we explained this, just called me a liar and hung up on me. They charged my card for pillows we didn’t use or take. Will never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone.

Staff at check-in and check-out were especially welcoming and helpful. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast included a good variety of the usual offerings including good coffee. The only drawback was that a/c took a while to cool off the room after check-in.

On my first night Amanda was excellent during check in and asking if I needed anything. However, I have stayed at many best westerns and the property was filthy (just being honest). I was so disappointed I wanted to find another hotel but I didn’t not want to sit on the phone for a long time and then relocate and I had been on the road all morning. There were roaches (I have pictures), spiders, the linen was not clean, the carpet was so dirty I couldn’t keep my shoes on, this was actually the very first hotel I have stayed at where the carpet was so dirty it felt sticky under my feet. The biggest one of all was the toilet not working, Amanda did come and plunge it upon arrival, but it stayed messed up the entire night. At 1:48am I called the front desk because the toilet was so loud it woke me up, it sounded like the tub was running. The breakfast was horrible, I always book hotels with free breakfast, my family live road trips, and of all the years this was the first time we left a hotel with free breakfast and went and got breakfast. The bacon looked like scraps, the strips were no bigger than an inch maybe two, the juice in the machine tasted funny, the eggs tasted like potatoes and the texture was way off. A/C worked perfect. Curtains were dirty and stained. Overall the hotels needs major cleaning. Oh and please let me not forget to mention I had to go downstairs and get gloves because the toilet was DIRTY. The amount of urine let’s me know they are NOT cleaning.

Need to upgrade to more comfortable mattresses & pillows. AC was very loud! Hard mattress & cheap flat pillows. AC needs to be upgraded to quieter systems!

Our stay was short but enjoyable. We booked two rooms and had an issue with one. There were dried dead bugs under the air conditioner and live crawling, large water bugs in the room. The air conditioner didn’t work. The other room was great. With that being said, the staff are amazing!!! We did address the issues and the staff was more than willing to correct the issues. Thank you the the staff at the hotel for the personable interaction and willingness to accommodate. We will return.

Stay was good. Only downside was the shower/tub faucet didn’t work well, bathroom floor was dirty/all wash items were empty. Besides bathroom issues, the room was nice…

I liked that it was by Walmart with a well lit parking lot. I liked the breakfast option. I woke up around 4am to use the restroom and there was a 2 1/2 inch cockroach on the wall by the door. Before I could kill it or get a picture, it crawled behind the mirror. I’ve never had this happen at a hotel before and I fell so incredibly “icky”…. I went down to tell the front desk, and she said “they are harmless” and “it’s because we live by a field” as if that makes it okay. I will not be sleeping tonight, and that is very unfortunate because this was my first time with Best western

Easy to find The carpets were dirty and needed to be cleaned and the room had a smoking smell to it.

hotel was clean and employees were nice. bathroom was large and clean. bed not very comfortable and poor lighting in room. overall nice stay

We drove all night and booked this as a halfway point, got in at 4 am and was awoken to construction going on right outside our door plus a fire alarm being set off due to said construction. A heads up while checking in that there might be construction going would’ve been nice.
