Good place for the price but our room could have definitely used some new mattress and box springs but room was clean

The bed squeaked. On 6/29/2026 I was awaken by someone with a master key attempting to enter my room at 8:35 AM. Luckily, I had the security latch on the door. I started yelling there’s someone in this room!! I immediately called to the front desk to inquire who had a master key and why would someone attempt to enter my room without knocking. After that I couldn’t sleep because I was worried for my safety. The person that got the door open never attempted to identify themselves or apologize. When I went out I requested towels and washcloths be replaced. I returned to towels still in the floor. I had to go downstairs and get fresh towels. When I made a request to go to my room no one responded. But the maid I assume tried to enter my room unsolicited. I would not stay here again and i recommend you don’t.

Although the hotel is unattractive from the outside it is well kept, clean and updated on the inside. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The free breakfast was excellent.

Staff location. Bar area was full of nats fruit flies. Bar was not stocked with certain liquors that were needed to make my cocktail.

It was very close to Rutgers University and nearby shopping and restaurants. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken and the shower head was very leaky.

Cheap quality of shaving blade Sink leaking from the bottom Very disappointed with the bathroom. After taking a shower, water leaked out and flooded the bathroom floor. The shower drainage and water containment were poor, creating a messy and potentially unsafe situation. Expected better maintenance.
