The outside of the property was very well kept. The rooms were very clean. The amenities were well supplied. The only show I had was the inside pool was extremely dirty. The pool is full of sand or possibly grout from the tile. I spoke to the front desk the second night of our stay and asked if they would be cleaning the pool before it opened the next day he replied that they shocked the pool on Wednesdays and I said that's not cleaning it because of pool is full of bugs and extremely dirty and full of sand. He stated that he would contact the maintenance man. We went down this morning the second day of our state and the pool was still very filthy. The pool area itself was very clean organized and there were plenty of towels.

The hotel had no power. Didn't reach out and communicate this and had no options to help find alternate accommodations. Won't be staying there in the future.

No hot water. We had to ask to change rooms but unfortunately property so out. Finally, insisted on a new room for the remainder of the stay. Manager on duty agreed to compensate for the first night but that never happened. I usually Holiday Inn Express properties—-but not this one. Consider me a dissatisfied customer.

My son and I just had an overnight stay for an event in South Bend. Our room was much bigger than expected since I believe we stayed in an ADA room or mini suite which for the very reasonable price was a very nice bonus. The staff was friendly albeit we got in late and left out early so not much extra interaction there. The breakfast was adequate and the typical selections were available and fresh. The best was that the hot food was actually hot, which as a 30+ year chef and food service veteran was MUCH appreciated. Overall great stay!

I've stayed in a few different hotels in the area and this one is the nicest one for the price. Breakfast is always good, rooms are clean and the staff is friendly.
