I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that.

The room was large and the king sized bed was comfortable and there was a desk and a TV. The AC worked well. The fireplace was electric. There was a large deck in back. The floors on the balconies didn't seem sturdy and the hotel seems to suffer from a little delayed maintenance. There is no staff on duty past 10 pm, until 9:00 am. There are many awards posted on the walls, so the hotel has an interesting history. Parking is plentiful. It may be up for sale.

Home away from home rice quick getaway A couple of things need to be updated such as the fireplace. The flame was not working and the dome lights over the Jacuzzi was not working.

We stayed in the T suite located in the basement. The room was large with two queen size beds. The bathroom was nicely renovated and very clean. I did find the bed a bit uncomfortable and the room a little warn. Would have been nice to have a ceiling or floor fan to help circulate the air.

Quaint inn. Clean and quiet.

Very comfy beds, front desk staff very helpful, helped us with super late check in on a Friday night. Would definitely go back!

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. While the staff member on duty was friendly and attempted to assist me, the overall experience did not meet the standard expected for the price point. Upon check-in, I found hair in the bedding of the first room. When I alerted the front desk, the staff member simply brushed the hair off and replaced the same duvet rather than changing the sheets. I later discovered more hair on the other side of the bed and noticed that the couches and carpets were visibly stained and poorly maintained. Due to these issues, I was moved to Room S. However, this room also had significant cleanliness and maintenance problems, including hair in the bathroom, stains on the walls, and a complete lack of hot water in both the bathroom and the kitchenette. I was forced to wash my daughter’s bottles in a common area sink. Furthermore, I originally paid $360 for a Penthouse suite, but was moved to a room valued at $266. Given the significant downgrade and the numerous hygiene issues encountered, I am requesting a refund of the $94 price difference. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve your housekeeping and maintenance standards. I look forward to your prompt response regarding the refund.

The room was large and was very comfortable as was the bed. The Inn was very quiet . Parking is off street and plentiful There was no breakfast included. There is no elevator although the stairs were easily climbed.
-
The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Cleaning questionable. Low toilet paper without extra roll. Hair from previous guest on carpet. Bagged breakfast instead of freshly prepared.

What we liked most about The Columbia Inn at Peralynna was the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful property, and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly, and the stay felt relaxing and unique. The property is beautiful and peaceful, although some areas could use a little maintenance and updating. Overall, we still had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at The Columbia Inn at Peralynna.

How private and cute the property felt. The water wasnt warm t all and we didnt get to enjoy the jacuzzi tub because of this.

Our stay here was amazing! We chose the "S" suite and it was absolutely beautiful. My fiance and I only live about 30 minutes away and were looking for a little getaway and we found it. This place is so quiet, you would never know there are other guests there. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We already have our next stay booked! I highly recommend this place!

I appreciated that our lovely room had an outdoor veranda style seating area directly on the parking lot (which was very quiet & remote across from a country field). This allowed me to drove within a foot of the room entrance which was perfect for my handicapped mother who joined me since she can barely walk. Nice, relaxing stay!

all good!

No amenities on site. Check carefully before going that you don't expect breakfast (in a bag but not in any other form), food or bar on site. It's basically a room - that's it. Be careful when picking a room, if you pick one w the letter "B" on it, you will be in the basement. It smells like a basement, and has no natural light.
