Grand Central Motel

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely an older location with an odd slant to the floor, but you can tell the owners really care about the property. A/C worked amazing!! Nothing fancy, but the perfect place to spend the night while passing through the area. Great fast food Mexican across the street too.

Funky, with spirit! I love the fact that the new owners were up front about their investment in the older property and passionate about gradually bringing it up to speed. It’s a classic motel in need of care, which means in need of customers. The room was totally clean, easy access, and easy parking for a motorcycle. I’m sure I’ll stay again, as it’s on my US 50 route for road trips. Keep this one going!

Worst experience ever! Room was not cleaned nor was the other room we were given we left and will never stay there we left and got another hotel for our stay

It was a very basic room, but it was nice and clean the TV had apps a nice refrigerator. I’d stay there again.

It's old and hasn't been well maintained. Bath fan didn't work. Opened bath window but no screen so flies came in. No A/C. Cold air did blow through a high vent when it was snowing outside with no control to turn it off. Ice machine broken. Carpet needs replacing. No on site manager. Text to check in. They didn't like me being there 20 minutes before 3pm check in time even though room was ready. No daily maid service offered. I recommend somewhere else.

A little out of date, but they are working on upgrades. Overall a nice, clean place to stay.

This is an older property with new owners. The beds were comfortable. There are no plug ins for electronics. The bathtub didn’t have a stopper and no hair dryer. Just little things. The heater worked well and the shower was fine. It was nice to be able to park right in front of the room. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I always want to support local businesses

The owner was super helpful explaining the check in process, room was clean, parking lot was decent size, and i really appreciated that the lot was very well lit at night. Showers & towels were fresh. Overall a decent nights stay in the middle of nowhere.

There is no desk staff, the host are hundreds of miles away. However they were very responsive and the place meat our expectation. We always enjoy talking to the locals, as that is part of getting to know the area. We missed a live person during check-in and out.

Size of fridge and freezer No air conditioning

Hotel is old and shows wear. Rooms were comfortable. No staff is on site, you call a number for assistance. Refrigerator in room also has a freezer which was very convenient.

Initial impression was not great. Well worn exterior. No office to speak of. Owners send a nice welcome note and give you a door code for your room. No contact with a real person. They nailed a clean bed, clean towels and hot water. Nice job and that is what is most important to us. Fairly fresh paint. There is only so much you can do to an old motel. Brown shag carpet. Hole kicked in wall. Mold/dirt around air duct. Missing chain on door lock. Etc. Strong pros and cons.

Small room. No overhead lighting in room and just one dim bedside lamp. Coffee maker innards were dirty!! Floor was slanted. No bedside power outlets. Marks on walls. Crummy side of town.

Not worth Staying at any time. The Room I had had many paint chips. It had no Decor, no pics. It was very very small. The Bathroom was Tiny. The pillows were AWFUL and aided no Sleep.

This is an old property, and the new owners are working to improve it and make a good experience for their guests. The check-in was done via texting, and they were very responsive.. The room was clean, and the linens looked very good. They provided a voucher for a free breakfast at a nearby restaurant.. Thank You !

Easy parking, access to room. Clean ,in reasonably good repair. TV set to welcoming relaxing tune. Bed was fairly comfortable once I was able to climb up into it. Nice selection of pillows. Electric heater warmed room up. Light switch by door did not turn on any lights, blinds did not have black out drapes, had flashing lights visible all night. No heat in bathroom. Bed was elevated, hard to climb into. Ice maker in lobby out of order.

The room was clean and fairly quiet.

Perfect place for a quick overnight stop while driving from LA to Boise. Ely gets cold during the winter, but we managed to stay very cozy. Having a door code made check-in easy and flexible. Would book again!
