Very good price especially if you have a larger family. Big draw back for us was how noisy it was from the neighbors around us. Rooms aren't sound proofed very well and there are lots of families with kids in small rooms that hold six people. Building is fairly dated. If you want a deal and don't mind the noise this is the place for you. If you're looking a more "traditional" hotel experience I would avoid.

The YMCA grounds are lovely. Cosmos and other flowers were beautiful. Proximity to RMNP cant be beat! The international staff members were helpful. The main lodge cafe was a life saver fir a late dinner. The buffet breakfast was a good option @ $16/adult, and very young children for free, with the food being average in variety/quality. Our room, our lodge common area, and the hallways were uninviting. These spaces were not just austere, but worn and dirty. The very late 6:00 PM check-in time was inconvenient with small children who were tired and needed to be settled in before dinner. Coupled with the early check-out at 10:00 AM this afforded very little time to enjoy our stay. The room "key" is deactivated at 10:00 AM on day of departure. The room price, though well below market rate, no longer seems like the bargain it once was considering the condition of the lodgings. But, YMCA of the Rockies may still be a good option for a multiple day stay with young children.

I could have researched this better. The location is amazing. I didn’t realize there was no air conditioning when I booked or a tv in the room. It was a little rustic for me. The sheets were very old and worn, clean but obviously old. Staff was very nice and helpful. Many neat things to do. Very limited pool hours. The food at their food hall was super poor quality. We wouldn’t stay here again.

If you're booking - be sure to request a room that is not near the large group meeting areas and not by the lobby unless you don't really have plans to sleep. On the positive side, I forgot an item in the room at check-out and housekeeping was able to find it for me and I was able to get it from lost and found - thank you for that!

Incredible place for families

Very relaxing and so many things to do - loved the pool, miniature golf, and playground and crafts

The property was like a summer camp setting. Very nostalgic and lots of activities to choose from. Beautiful property surrounded by mountains on all sides.

Highly recommend! Note: If you are from a hot state like Texas there were not AC in the room. However, there was one box fan. It was comfortable in the room overnight but if you are hot nature or elderly that get hot fast then make sure to bring one. It might have said on the listing but the only thing that stuck out was no TV which I thought was great!

The YMCA was a great place to stay when visiting Rocky Mountain NP! It’s near the beaver meadows entrance if you hiking on that side of the park!

Beautiful location, with lots of activities. Friendly staff.

Disgusting, filthy, rundown rooms paired with an utterly useless front‑desk staff. The rooms were worse than a bargain‑basement motel — stained, foul‑smelling, and shockingly neglected. Their facility might look decent from the outside, but those ancient, crumbling rooms should be demolished and rebuilt immediately. I strongly advise travelers not to be fooled by their shiny amenities and avoid stepping into these bare‑minimum, outdated, smelly rooms that feel like they haven’t been cleaned or maintained in years. When asked for a change in room, they mentioned that I booked through 3rd party and can't help us.

Price for location was fair. No ac. Some kind of church (?) group was having a meeting next to our windows so we've heard a lot of singing and walking around. Pretty cool place though

I travelled with family. There were what looked like splats of blood in the ceiling of the room and there was no shower curtain. Other than that, we had a good stay and the staff was friendly as usual.

There is no a/c (which ok but it’s been a 100 degree summer so I would have liked to know ahead of time). Our room was dirty with what appeared to be animal droppings in our window sill, dirty on the walls and it was loud at night.

Overall this was the worst night my family has ever had in a hotel of any kind. Quiet hours start at 11pm and guests above us were running around jumping and yelling well past 2am. The staff did absolutely nothing except offer to let us check out and refund our stay. If you actually want to sleep, this isn’t your place.

This is my lesson to read more thoroughly through the info on the property before booking. However it did say that there would be a refrigerator, microwave, and complimentary coffee in the room, which there was not. There wasn’t a TV in the room either, which was upsetting especially because we could hear our neighbors tv through the walls. After arrival we did read that there were no tv’s in certain rooms, but that was not disclosed during booking. There was a microwave in our lodge lobby, but that’s it. Also they have a strict policy on check out so no late check out is allowed. The cleaning staff when we were leaving was very friendly so we were thankful for that. The price was decent, but now I see why.

Blood stains and boogers all over the room and items like sheets and pillows. Unfriendly staff at both Expedia support and the hotel staff. Only compensation offered was a free meal ticket!

Incredible property and grounds. Easily exceeded our expectations. Staff was a joy to talk to. The volunteers made my day.
