The Inn and my room was clean. The furnishings and decor is dated. The room was small but adequate for one person. There is no staff on the premises after 10 PM. This was a bit uncomfortable given there were few guests the night of my stay.

Overall nice stay. Room was fine. Unique building. Staff was very nice.

Very cute 1790 inn with very friendly staff. Because it is over 200 years old however you can hear your neighbors very clearly so be aware. Overall positive experience as my neighbors were not too loud but I think i got lucky.

This place is beautiful with so much history. Wish we would have had a longer stay to explore! We had a glass of wine at the bar and the staff was wonderful! The bar tender was full of information on the history. Highly recommend!

I had a very nice four night stay. The Inn is beautiful and so comfortable. Easy parking, great location, fantastic restaurant. I will definitely stay here again.

The bed was great but the towels were so small and rough it was ridiculous

Please keep in mind this is a farmhouse built in 1830, so if you stay on the first floor, you will hear every step on the staircase and the floor above you. That said, this is lovely establishment. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. Our room was the Lincoln on the first floor, which was amazing. We had a private area off the bedroom so one of us could sit and read when the other slept. Plus we had our own little outdoor sitting area off the room where we could sit and drink coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable. We will definitely be returning. It is great for a quiet, romantic getaway.

The tv was smashed / broken screen. There is no control of the heating and cooling, it was hot like the south. The bathroom was very small, not suggested if you are a bigger person. The bed was not comfortable, mattress was approximately 50 years old or more. 2 stars out of 5. Nice enough people, but not nice enough as they are letting this room go without a second thought. How many other sla** owners does this hotel honor?

Great location for our family gathering. I loved the Pennsylvanian Dutch decor. The beds and pillows were disappointing but all else great. :)

Check in was effortless, office lady very welcoming and helpful.

It's an old place, so the shower was weird. Very charming, excellent staff, but the landscaping had weeds growing all through it.
-
Room was okay, but bed was terrible. It needs to be changed. The mattress was uneven and felt very uncomfortable.
-
The mattress was awful, as in very old. So I did not sleep well and hence the low rating.

Very clean

The linens were nothing special, reminding me of a lower tier motel. There was no staff to ask anything of. There was a clerk at check-in, and we never saw anyone after that. It might as well be an air bnb. I just can't recommend this as a place to stay.

Lovely inn in a quiet setting. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

The room was ok. The sink was outside the bathroom. The hot water came and went in the shower. The bed was very high. My wife had trouble getting into it. Electrical outlets were not very accessible for charging electronics. The room was very pretty. The lobby was extremely small.

Pleasant accommodations, clean, friendly Inn keeper. Restaurant provides a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.
-
The property itself is adorable. However, the room had a window that wouldn't open or close, had ants, a broken bed frame, auper uncomfortable mattress, no way to control the temperature and you hear EVERYTHING from the room next to you.

Wonderful place to stay & enjoy the historic home (Duling Kurtz House) and fantastic restaurant all within driving distance to historic sites, Art museums and gardens in the Brandywine valley. Very kind innkeeper and wish we could get back there more often
