Wingate by Wyndham Dayton - Fairborn

Our room smelled moldy so we moved to another room. It was the old sofa. Breakfasts was disappointing-watery eggs & paper thin bacon.

My AC unit did not work at all.

Great comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool just before it closed at 10pm. Breakfast was plentiful. We would stay here again if in the area!

Great location. Undergoing some minor renovations. Quiet, secure, great breakfast!

It was kind of dingy. The electricity was out when I arrived. We waited over an hour to check in. The room was pretty average. Not complaining for the price I paid. But clean the corners.

The hotel was under construction so I hope that had something to do with the fact it wasn’t the cleanest.

Tracy at the front desk during our check-in was so helpful. She was very nice. Linda the manager even brought our key card to our room. The morning duty at breakfast time were very nice as well.

AC worked fine! Bed was good. Room was clean. TV is ok but difficult to figure out.

Property was clean. Our room had a heavy smell of cleaner, but it dissipated. It was cozy and well kept. Breakfast was good with lots of options.

The lady who checked me in was incredibly nice but needed help at the counter it to far to long to check in. Everyone who came in after me she would stop and ask them what they needed ended up taking a lot longer than it should have. Again I feel bad because she was very pleasant

Very clean and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable

The hotel was under construction. If you are planning to stay for a week, not ideal. The breakfast was not that good. Trash outside was never picked up and goose poop on sidewalks. Pool was small and workout room was wven smaller. Staff was friendly and hotel is close to all shopping and restaurants one could dream of.

Clean room hit find under renovation so smelled like carpet glue

Under construction and dirty, which I was unaware of when I booked. The room smelled awful of mold and mildew. I took out the two air filters and cleaned them. They were packed with dust. I had some lysol spray in my car, which I brought in and thoroughly sprayed the HVAC unit and room to try and remove the smell. The cleaning and spray helped but didn't really improve it that much. Very dirty hotel, but not sure how much was due to the construction.

Everything was fine, the staff is super helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical. Our room was clean but everything seemed damp. Admittedly, it was a heat wave in the region - and our AC worked great - but I was surprised by how damp everything was considering the fact that the AC was working so well, and that usually pulls the excess humidity out of the air. Overall, a good stay. I would stay here again.
