Hampton Inn Fairhope-Mobile Bay

Lovely stop in Fairhope. Staff were so helpful and the included breakfast was very welcome.

In the middle of town, walking distance to everything.

Very well located and clean, it’s just an older property.

Hopeful Hampton Inn can give this gem a much needed renovation.

Staff member Leigha was amazing. We had an ac leak flood our first room. She got us moved and had a bad mag lock and she moved us one more time to a really great room and all thanks to her. She’s amazing and would work with her again!

Everything about this stay was great. Easy check-in, helpful staff and nice facilities. Conveniently located and easy parking.

Breakfast was good but some chairs at dining table sunk all the way to frame bottom and could not reach the table Location was good if you wanted to visit the shops and restaurants in walking distance The immediate first impression was this hotel needs UPDATING! This impression was only confirmed throughout From lobby thru hall and into room Furniture bed lines all OLD and not neat We paid for a 2 night stay and only got accommodations for one night!! No brochures or local map or suggestions for dining Staff not knowledge about local or out of immediate area access. Did not have the typical in room desk info or writing or accommodation in house info! No even a channel guide for the TV!

Location The bed was awful and the pillows were little knots.

The room had an old worn sofa bed…. Need to replace this it made room look like it was in 1970s and very uncomfortable we had to sit on bed only.this was in room 306

The lobby is in terrible condition. The bottom of your shoes literally stick to the carpet in the hallways and the dirty tile in the elevators. The carpet in the main areas is heavily stained. The furniture in the common and breakfast areas are the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. There was also a full trash can in the hallway outside of our room, that stayed full for two days. We had two rooms, one booked with points and the other thru Expedia. Both had grossly stained furniture, terribly worn carpet, and slow drains (one in the room with the tub/shower combo and the other in the cracked sink in the other room). Sadly, we were stuck staying at this property. A total waste of points and money, As a Hilton brand, do better! I do not recommend this property, nor will I ever return and now I’m leery of staying in another Hampton Inn.

Unacceptable and Unsanitary – Do Not Stay Here!I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel and would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere. The lack of basic cleanliness and hygiene here is a serious health and safety concern.Upon arrival, I was shocked to find what appeared to be blood on the elevator floor. Things only got worse once I entered the room. The bathroom had visible mold, the carpet and furniture were visibly stained and dirty, and the bed skirt was completely filthy.To top it all off, the service was nonexistent. A housekeeping staff member came to the door with fresh towels, but instead of cleaning, she simply handed them to me and expected me to change my own trash. When I explicitly asked for full room service, they only came in, made the bed, and left. They completely ignored the rest of the room—no cleaning was done, and they failed to swap out or replace any of the dirty towels.This place is poorly managed, unsanitary, and completely neglects its guests. Save your money and stay somewhere that values basic cleanliness.

The location, it has parking lot, excellent breakfast Everything was good I would have liked a better view, but it was only one night so it was fine

The Location of this property is Ideal- main shopping area right there, restaurants and bars walking to . Very friendly greeting by Matt. Breakfast service good. Room was clean. The property is older, a painting, refurbishing would make this better! Definitely need new chair upholstery in common area, but I’d still stay here for a stay in charming Fairhope. Dinner at sunset Point Fly Creek marina great

Great location, clean hotel, breakfast was better than most complimentary breakfast.

The hotel was very conveniently located right in the middle of downtown Fairhope and walkable to the pier area also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee and breakfast items were displayed attractively and easily accessible each morning. Our room was clean and stocked with all we needed. I would say two more washcloths would be nice to have. The pool area was small but adequate and was stocked with quite a few beach towels. The hotel is older with a few scuffs and bumps/bangs, and could definitely use a refresh in the coming years. Overall, everything was very nice. I’d stay here again and next time will book a balcony room.
