Econo Lodge Fargo

Like others have said, if you need a cheap place to stay and are easy going, this is fine. I needed a last minute place to stay due to plane issues - I felt safe, the people working there were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was typical but they had eggs which was nice, and you are a short drive to the airport and other places around town. However, the place is NOT clean. There was mold in the bathroom, the sheets had a small stain and my toilet had a bit of hair on it. For one night on a budget, why not?

Arrived around 10:30pm only to find that no one answering the phone or door, regardless of the signs stating check in is 3pm-12pm with a call number. Expedia left me stranded in a thunderstorm for 3.5 hours and waiting until nearly 1:00 a.m. for a so called “resolution”.

The front desk employee was incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The pillows were quite small

Not sure if the sheets were washed and replaced. Looked wrinkled like someone slept in them. Desk lamp didn’t work properly. No screen in outside window. One latch broken on outside window. Desk back board and bed headboard had hand marks and streaking poorly cleaned. Bathroom faucet broken and loose. Shampoo holder broken in shower. Breakfast was just ok. Room smelled musty. Not a good value for what was paid.

Clean hotel and friendly staff Breakfast had no protein options. No yogurt, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or meat etc. There was no fruit options either. If someone is gluten free, they would not been able to eat.

Need to have hot food choices

Probably one of the better hotels we've stayed at with a really good price! Recommend!!!

When we got there we had an issue with them saying that we can’t stay at the hotel because we are under 21, we are 19 and the site said that they allowed 18+ to check in and he said they changed the policy 6 months ago and for the future to call ahead. They failed to change the policy, which is not my fault and it shouldn’t take 6 months to change a policy. They then told me I have to call Expedia to get a refund because they failed to change their policy, and considering I already paid for it and we are 3 hours from home. We then left to go to other hotels to see where we can stay the night as it was 7pm and getting late. After going to a couple hotels and reading into the rules we went back to this hotel and showed him the policy they had online and he eventually let us in.

The staff was friendly. The outside of the building had many cigarette butts lying around and there was plenty of trash also. It didn’t look like they took very good care of their property. We did like our room and the price was reasonable.

Rooms were clean, pool and hottub well maintained, all windows open in hallways which had the hallways hot and smelling like everything anybody smoked outside in the morning, and somebody’s vehicle literally got stolen out of the parking lot

Well, the swimming pool was working and clean... There was no breakfast, I paid extra for a breakfast, there was only bread, dough to make pancake, juice, coffee and cereal, Lying to customers ?

The outside was not the most inviting. But once inside it was nice.

From day 1, we were greeted with loads of cigarette butt's at the entrance which was never removed up until our departure. At the reception, we stayed almost 5 minutes before someone could attend to us. The room and the buidkijf itself welcome us with offensive odour - we got adjusted to it.. smiles. We had to ask for towels (bascis in every hotel), one of the beds in our room was dirty, hair shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, no bathing soap, takes forever to have someone to attend to your meed at the reception. Highly unprofessional customer relations, Waffle mix just beside uncovered garbage, .... 2 nights... Good pool and spa... if this is how all Econo Lodge is, then am never booking an Econo Lodge again.

We were in town during a national wrestling event so the prices were quite high.
