Close to Belterra ⭐ 1/5 I would strongly recommend staying at Belterra or driving to Carrollton for a different hotel rather than staying here. We paid $154.99 for our room and were only inside it for a few minutes before ultimately deciding to leave because of how uncomfortable the front desk interaction made our entire group. We ended up paying $291 to stay at Belterra instead. We certainly didn't spend almost twice as much on another room because we simply changed our minds. From the beginning, the front desk receptionist, Linda, was extremely unprofessional. We had friends with us who were visiting but were not staying overnight, and she followed our group all the way to our room. When we later returned to collect our belongings, she refused to give me her name, refused to provide her supervisor's information, and initially wouldn't even give me a receipt until she spoke with her supervisor on the phone. During this interaction, she remained sitting in a recliner watching TV rather than getting up to assist us. Then, unbelievably, I was handed another guest's receipt instead of my own, which contained information belonging to someone completely unrelated to us. I still have the receipt and will obviously not publicly share that person's information, but that was incredibly concerning. I contacted management afterward hoping the situation would be handled professionally. Unfortunately, that interaction was also disappointing. The manager acknowledged that we had only been in the room for a matter of minutes but still refused to refund the $154.99. More concerning to me was the lack of accountability or concern regarding how the situation was handled by the employee. Beyond the customer service issues, the hotel itself had a very unpleasant smell and felt extremely outdated. I understand that we booked a non-refundable room, and normally I would completely understand that policy. However, we didn't leave because our plans changed.

Stained hallway carpet, stale smoky smell everywhere. The room was clean minus the nasty bedspread and blanket with cig burns and yellow stains. Could use new comforter and pillows. Should get rid of the nasty decorative pillows that never get washed. Overall, fine if a quick stay.

Friendly staff nice basic rooms great location The room was dark

This place should shut down until they can make some changes. This was the worst place my husband and I have ever stayed. The entire motel has a strange smell could be stale smoke and dirty large fish tank in the lobby. Not one port to plug in electronics and only two outlets which neither was behind the night stand. The bedspread were from 20 years ago which is okay if clean. I always pull the bedspread/comforter off the bed, I’m aware they don’t get washed often. These had large cigarette holes and the backs were yellow! The pillows were flat and the smell was strange. We stayed here three nights, was locked in. The shower floor flexed in and out and thought It was going to cave in. We had two towels when we checked in. The next day no towels were dropped off. My husband went to the desk for towels they gave him one towel and the others were hand towels. The front desk clerk said you will need to wait until housekeeping comes in the morning. The funny thing is they probably only rented about 10 rooms that night. Breakfast were tiny muffins that were dry, some white bread and bagel. The coffee in the lobby was terrible. Now with this said yes it was only $70 a night we should have stayed at belterra casino just a few blocks away, it was double the price but when I seen my brothers room there it would have been worth it. The staff was very nice but even they couldn’t make up for the horrible conditions of this property. I don’t think Expedia should offer this property!

Room was clean and checkin was smooth The hotel was dark and had an odor. Breakfast was minimal. Beds were springy and not super comfortable. Ok stay for one night stop over on our road trip.

Nothing fancy, but it was fine. Right across from Belterra.
-
Tired and dirty. Stained towels. No housekeeping. But, no bugs is a plus.
-
The bed was comfortable though!

The whole place smelled like old cigarettes. The lights flickered in the hallways, the TV in the room had no service, there was no phone in the room or way to contact the front desk, the vent was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, and the whole place was truly terrible. After an hour I had to leave because I couldn't breathe. Hands down the worse hotel I've stayed at in my 56 years.
