Hyatt Place Florence Downtown

The rooms and common areas were really clean and maintained. The free breakfast had a lot of choices and the food was good. The gym was clean and lots of equipment. I would definitely stay there again.

This is Hotel has breath taking amenities. The staff are attentive, the breakfast buffet is delicious. Great room prices, I will book again.

Poor experience for a quick overnight stay while traveling through Florence. Poor customer service, AC not working properly (had to switch rooms late at night), and the restaurant/bar was out of basic items.

The first room we were given, had sheets that were slept in and simply straightened out. The mattress had huge stains on it. And so did one of the pillows. Completely unacceptable. Extremely friendly staff at the front desk, were horrified at what I found and got me another room right away. That is the only reason this hotel did not get one star. Cleaning staff should be disciplined for this lapse.

The overall appearance was okay; however, the carpet needs to be replaced or cleaned. The air circulation in the was poor which gave the room a musty smell and the lighting was very dim. The breakfast area was well maintained, the food and the staff (in the breakfast area) were great!

Location and cleanliness! The elevator should have room key security feature. The outside door stay open to long after entering with room key.

I liked the property because it was very clean and well-organized, with friendly staff present at all times. Unlike other places where staff may be hard to find at night, they were always accessible here. The part I didn’t like about the property is that to access the hotel parking, you first have to check in to get your room keys to open the gate. Usually, you can just park and then carry all your suitcases inside without going out again, but in this case, you do have to go to the front desk to get the room key. However, they do have a lot of parking.

I stay here often. I only spent a night this time. I’m glad that the breakfast selection is better! Staff very helpful as always. The condition of the room and property in general, excellent!

The Hotel is pretty good. The pool is a little small. The room was nice and clean. The bed was nice and comfortable.We will come back

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt... one of the keys points for me is the location... walking distance to a couple of restaurants and shops... quiet area, clean hotel , clean room, friendly helpful staff 10/10

Had a compressor right outside my window that went on and off throughout the night was difficult to sleep. Temperature control in the room was average at best room was very humid

Delicious breakfast with lots of options for everyone. Everything was fresh and presented beautifully! The bathroom in our room was very nice and clean- we liked the walk-in shower. The hotel is in a convenient location- we loved walking to the ice cream shop down the street. The outdoor pool and gym areas were also very nice. The pull out sofa bed linens were still in place from the last guest and had hairs on them. We just requested new ones and remade the bed ourselves. The coffee in the lobby is available 24 hours a day but was unfortunately cold in the evening when we went down to get some after our long day of driving. The parking is down the street so be sure you don’t forget anything in your car like we did.

Great location. Easy walk to entertainment and eateries
