Hampton Inn & Suites Folsom

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend it.

Clean property and spacious room with lots of amenities. Great location with lots of food options close by.

Good location. I feel the only complaint was the breaker food was a bit to "rehydrated". Not horrible, but not great. But we would stay there again.

The location was great. The breakfast was also great. The staff didn’t give me an accessible room. After we paid for it. They gave that room away. We didn’t show up until about 9pm. We weren’t worried about it because we had paid for it. We thought they would hold the accessible room for us. We were wrong. They gave us a standard room. They said it was Booking.coms fault. We have stayed in 7 different hotels in the past 8 days. This was the only hotel who said that. We had the same requirements on each reservation.

We requested housekeeping and it was confirmed - but never delivered. When I mentioned this on checkout, the staff apologized and extended a credit to our account. That was very much appreciated.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that we reported the loose drain cover at the pool shower. Our grandsons were rinsing off - their feet are so small they could have really gotten hurt when the metal cover came off and exposed a metal pipe. Also, the handrail going into the pool is wobbly. We told management at least once, perhaps twice over the last few months. The breakfast continues to be great, the staff is wonderful, and we still enjoyed the indoor pool (our grandsons really love it during the winter). We tried the kind and sofa bed for something different (since the double queen suites are so limited); wasn’t my favorite. Obviously, we love this hotel, since we keep coming back! (Our grandsons call it “grandma and grandpa’s hotel)overall, it’s a great place to stay - well located, good breakfast, great staff , clean facilities

Great staff however the bathroom smelled a little like humidity but was clean though.

I have been staying at the Hampton Inn once a year for the last five years. We always have a pool party on a Saturday where my whole family comes. It has never been a problem, but this year the blonde desk clerk seemed to think it was inappropriate. She asked me who told you you could have a pool party. I told her we have been having one every year for five years. It’s never been a problem. She seemed very unhappy with me, told me to keep it quiet.
