Crossroads Hotel and Event Center

Our stay was uneventful. The room was a bit outdated but everything worked fine and the beds were comfy.

The cabin was great. Loved the walk-in shower. Didn't use the swimming pool but it was large and looked amazing. Out on the edge of town, so it was quiet. Breakfast was decent with sausage links and mini cheese omelets, French toast sticks, cereals, English muffins, and donuts, etc. Would stay again upon returning.

We loved that the pool was on the shallow side for our daughter who is gaining more confidence with swimming. The Coffee was great and he gentlemen that handles the breakfast was so nice to my daughter when there were no more donuts he promptly went and glazed some more. Very nice but the hot food was pretty rough. My only complaint was the free breakfast lol so all in all high 4s and we will definitely stay again.

the hotel is outdated. also a person tried entering our room late at night. staff was okay and breakfast was solid. nothing special.

When we entered the room, we had a half a roll of toilet paper. The carpet was not thoroughly cleaned. The breakfast had very limited choices. The price was reasonable for the area.

The room appeared clean however there was an odor near or coming from the air conditioner. There were also several flies and other insects in the room. There wasn’t a waste basket near the bathroom area. There was a thick film of dust on the base of the light fixture between the beds. Finally, I didn’t look in the microwave, but it wasn’t set at zero, so there could have been something in it.

This staff are very good but I wish there were locks to the outdoor doors.

Very outdated but not a bad place to stay for a night. Pool looked cool but didn’t use it because we were in town for a wedding. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t bad. AC unit vent had visible mold and the room smelled bad upon entry.

The complimentary breakfast was out of the box! Burrito shells to make your own burrito with shredded cheeses if you please! The next day egg patties & sausage patties to make your own sandwich! A sign to let you know it’s not just the ordinary help yourself to what’s in the warmer. Sliced cheese to make it your own. That was my favorite surprise! The Folgers coffee is also something to look forward too! Thank you so very much! The kitchen staff deserves a pat on the back for creativity!!

My very large family is from Ft Dodge, and this has always been our go-to hotel for family gatherings. This week we had our Matriarch's funeral, and 60 plus of us gathered for multiple days. The pool entertained the children for hours on end, and the staff was super understanding, patient and accommodating of our needs
