Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront

The AC in our room was broken. Had to come two times to fix it went to bed got woken up at 3 AM when carbon monoxide detector was ringing call front desk was told there was no maintenance to unplug it, we said is there a week because it was bringing they moved us to a small room at 3:30 AM. The next day the Manager Kim called us back and was talking over us trying to tell us we had to stay in that small room, even though I paid for a bigger room finally after arguing got put back in that room so they put a battery in the alarm but it had none when we looked. Kim, the manager was very unprofessional. Talk to us like we were garbage. I would not recommend staying there. The building is very old and beat up. Management is bad.

Well maintained great location for personal or business trip and very different than many westerns but as a even better one because all my last best western stays have been rebranded to me it’s a great chain to stay

Our reservation was for July 4,2026, 2 rooms, 2 nights. We did arrive early at 10:30 am to see if we could get a room/s on low floor since one of our group has issues with heights. We also asked if it were possible to get connecting rooms. Not possible, but why didn't we go to lunch, come back in an hour or hour and half and one of our rooms would be available. So that's what we did. when we returned around 12:30 a different woman was at the desk with the clerk who had been there at 10:30. She told me that our rooms were not ready, that if we had wanted early check in it would cost $30.00 and that they could not guarantee early check in because it was a holiday. Check in time was 4:00 and we could come back then. Will go to a different waterfront hotel next time.

Clean room, great breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Old building but views were great and so were the amenities. Loved the location too

Really think this is a great place to stay.

This place was very nice

We had a balcony room facing the water and had our coffee out there and enjoyed seeing two dolphins playing near the dock

The floor was dirty and the AC system made the air quality in the room bad.

They cancel my reservation with out contacting me and also charged me

Great view, clean bed and bath - for the price it was great. night manager was helpful and great customer service could use refreshing on outside like paint/plants

The property is old and needs remodeling, the bathroom didn't work well at all

Lady at front deck was friendly and the accomplishments was nice and cold. The room provided to us had roaches. The carpet in the room was dirty. It made my bare feet black after walking on it after my shower. The bathroom door was cracked and looked like it was about to fall off the hinges. The shower head sucked and the bathroom faucet was extremely hard to turn on.

Dated hotel with a great view. Needs an update good for a quickie if ya just plan to go out partying

The hotel needs an upgrade the the overall experience was good. The restaurant prices were also not high.

Had a King room on second story. Room was huge. Bathroom was huge. Had to ask for directions to the room at check-in. That was the only time I felt the costomer service was lacking. Also, no on site laundry was a bummer.

Staff was amazing! Dog amenities were spectacular. Dock at sunrise was luxurious.
