The outdoor chairs and cushions were covered in bird feces that clearly had not been cleaned or replaced in a long time, making the balcony unusable. Inside the room, the floors were dirty, there were trip hazards from uneven transitions, and we noticed grime in multiple areas, dust buildup, dead bugs, and dirty curtains that looked neglected. The windows and shades were especially concerning, the shades were dusty and stained, and the windows, particularly in the bathroom, were absolutely filthy, covered in streaks, residue, and visible dirt that made it obvious they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Even the headboard had visible handprints, which made it clear the room had not been properly sanitized before our arrival. Comfort and safety were also issues. The temperature inside the hotel, including the hallways and especially the elevator floor, was uncomfortably hot. To make matters worse, only one elevator was working, causing long waits and crowding, which was especially inconvenient. Overall, our stay was overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic comfort. The suite had potential, but the condition of the property made it impossible to enjoy.

The HVAC was loud and the outside noise made it difficult to sleep.
-
Great location. Walk to many restaurants and bars.

The room was great

Front desk was very helpful with early check-in and tips on where to go. Room was clean and fresh. Only issue was that the window shades had no black out option. The room was too bright from the moment the sun rose.
-
Lack of self parking in property. Your options are parking on the street or valet at $30.00 a night or a parking garage about a block from the hotel. No complimentary breakfast in property.
-
Excellent location, nice terrace, interesting historic building, plenty of food options around
-
Parking can be an issue, but the valet service is very convenient and very helpful.

Amazing location. It’s right in the heart of downtown, close to many attractions, restaurants, shops and super walkable. I have to give a big kudos to Mark the amazing maintenance guy for taking care of my AC so quickly, he was super friendly! Slow elevator and lobby is very hot—it can feel uncomfortable if you have to wait in line because you’ll sweat and feel the humidity.

Great place to stay

Lady at the front desk was absolutely rude and unhelpful. I had paid for my room already, had the receipt, saw the charge on my account but she insisted I hadn't paid. She would not give me my room key and would not get the manager. I was forced to pay again and involve expedia. Expedia contacted the front desk at the hotel and after making them wait (and me) for over 30 mins, told Expedia she was the only one working and too busy to answer their questions. Keep in mind I was standing in the lobby the whole time and no one was there checking in but me.

I love the hotel. Our room was beautiful and the staff was great, but the bed is absolutely miserable. Hard as a rock and the sheets and mattress cover were not fitting properly. They seemed way too small for the mattress. It kept coming off in the middle of the night, I complained they told me they fixed it. The same thing happened the next night. It is very miserable sleeping on a bare mattress. They need to get better bedding. I will not stay at this hotel again because the beds are terrible.

Location Furniture by pool was very beat up. There were no umbrellas or other amenities by the pool. All ice machines on all floors didn’t work. Housekeeping didn’t come one day. When they came they did not do a thorough job.
-
The hotel was very nice - a little hard to find because the lobby is past an area that houses several restaurants.

Love this Hotel!
