The Royal Inn Beach Hotel Hutchinson Island

We paid for an "Ocean View" but we could barely see the ocean through a gap in the trees. Not hardly worth the extra money. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the parking was easy.

It was like a nice older Florida hotel. The staff was very pleasant. My only complaint was that the elevator was out of order. I had a good visit. The location is awesome!

The staff was great. The beach is walking distance.

Towels in the bathroom were dirty.

Stayed for a night. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. The hotel itself needs a renovation its outdated. Furniture is outdated and dressed and drawers need to be replaced. Overall i gave it 3 stars because the room was clean and staff was friendly. Also, it was conveniently in a great location next to dining options and beaches.

The next morning I spoke with a woman in the office wanting the owners # and compensated. She emailed him. I'd hoped to discuss this with him and resolve but I guess he wants to ignore it. So here we are. I've stayed at the Royal Inn for 11 years and always loved it. I felt SAFE. THIS incident, this strange man walking into my room in the evening with 3 women in it was terrifying! NOT SAFE! It was the first time all these years, after the incident, that I realized there's no bar latch lock on the door. That would've prevented the strange man with the Master key from stepping in my room and terrifying us! So disturbing and violating of my safe space.

The place in infested with roaches!!!!!

The mattresses needed to be replaced as they were concaved. Uncomfortable. Nice location. The midges were so bad that we were all bitten by them badly.

Everything was great. Lots of help.

Horrible!! They absolutely over price these rooms. No way anyone should pay that price for these conditions. I booked and paid online & when I show up a surprise fee now needs to be paid, which was not on the site whatsoever nor when they messaged me directly did they tell me. I had no choice but to pay it. The outside hotel is disgustingly, dog poop in bags right outside my unit for days. The room was DISGUSTING, no one can ever tell me they clean those room. Hair, bugs, dirt on the floor. Kitchen is disgusting. The toaster started smoking when we tried to use it. I bought foods for the 4th and what I had on the counter I had to throw away as they are infested with ants. So I wasted so much money doing that and since I discovered it the evening before the 4th I couldn’t even replace it so the celebration did not turn out the way we planned. When I advised the front desk all she said was oh you can’t leave stuff out, it’s normal. No ma’am. I live in florida and I leave foods out on my counters all the time. I think our neighbors live there full time. We were two girls and they made us VERY uncomfortable, today at 7am like 7 police cars for those people! My last morning was filled with fighting, cops & giving statements. The door HA lol the knob/lock is falling off, a child could break in. We had to push furniture against it. Zero sleep cause of those neighbors who party all night and fight. And lastly, you’ll smell weed all the time in your unit. HORRIBLE!

The location of the hotel is very comfortable, it was nice and clean to the bathroom to the sheets. Would definitely recommend for a short visit to the beach!

It was a perfect stay! Great for young couples, and families. We had a maintenance request and they resolved it immediately while we were away at Disney. The staff are all so nice and welcoming, especially Amanda, and overall it was a great stay! If you feel nervous about the other reviews, don’t! It’s completely worth the price. It’s definitely not luxury, but it’s cost effective, the location is PERFECT, and genuinely has great vibes all around!

Very close to the beach as close as you can get without being beachside. Good atmosphere, bars, restaurants, fishing all walking distance.

Staff save the day with excellent service. Preya was super helpful and nice.

Great AC I also booked another room in the newer building for my parents and that one was good. Front desk staff were supper nice and helpful. Pool was nice and clean Proximity to the beach is unbeatable, also very convenient parking right in front of my front door. Bery noisy at night since cars came to the across the street parking lot with loud music until 4am.
