I booked a room online then come to check in the rooms was booked couldn’t get any help from employees or manager and never received my funds back just horrible … track down the manger was like finding a needle in a hay stack

It’s in a good location and was convenient for where what I had to do there There was a lot of trash outside and around the building and the whole building smelled like marijuana. People were even smoking marijuana outside of the building. Didn’t really feel safe outside of the building.

The bathtub sounded like it was going to fall thru when you moved around,the blankets smelled bad or was it the mattress?The entire building smelled of bad funk.

Fair price & nice staff but rooms smelled horrid and no blackout window coverings for night shift workers who need to sleep during the day. Room smelled like mildew in walls

Nothing much Everything.

The hotel is older but appears they’re doing updates. The front desk staff were very nice. The common spaces (entry, elevator and hallways) has a funky smell, stained carpets and lots of people coming and going. Like, more than a normal hotel. But they were friendly and respectful. The room was spacious, clean and smelled pleasant. The a/c blew cold, the bathroom was clean and the water was hot. I felt safe traveling solo with my toddler. I would stay again!

Location was convenient to the 820 Loop. Vending machines were nice. It was quiet for the most part. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower had good water pressure. Elevator worked reliably during our stay. Location stunk, smelled bad throughout the entire facility. Rooms were the worst smell. Not very cleanly. Other guest working on cars in the parking lot at 3am. Best part of my day was leaving the hotel.

At check in, I was asked, “do you need a working TV”? Very musty / mildew smell when I entered the room. Very run down and dated rooms. Paneling on bathroom door was peeling off. Clear packing tape was used to try to keep paneling on door. No shampoo. I asked for shampoo, but front desk couldn’t access housekeeping storage area. Terrible bed sheets and uncomfortable mattress. Woke up in middle of night to use the bathroom and saw 2 roaches in the bathroom. At least the room had hot water and functioning AC.

Property could use a little updating in the future but for the price it’s a phenomenal stay. Big rooms and comfy beds.

Front office personnel were friendly and professional. I’d stay here again.

Nasty place

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room reeked of cigarette smoke even tho it was clearly stated as a non smoking room. The mattresses were thrift store finds with plastic bed frames that basically broke when you put weight on them. The AC didn’t work at all. The pet deposit wasn’t a deposit but additional non-refundable fees even for a service animal. The noise from all the rooms around us sounded like elephants were rearranging furniture. The phones in the room didn’t work so you couldn’t call down to the front desk. Also, when trying to leave the front desk was unmanned for so long that 8 people ended up just leaving. Luckily Hotels.com worked with me and got some of my stay back. Avoid at all costs.
