Comfortable bed & good breakfast

No one ever answered the front desk. Can you get me the $50 for a bottle of wine? they won’t let me use my travel pass. It won’t let me add these points to my travel pass. They don’t know why they’re just that was my whole point.

Property is compltely run down. Mold, cracked tiles, filthy tub and shower-head. The floor was sticky in the room. Trash (a lot) in the hallways. Carpets appeared to be 40 years old and in bad need of replacement or cleaning. Parking lot unlit with shady characters hanging on every corner. All around bad. I didn’t stick around.

Best staff ever

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I was initially very concerned about a first floor room with walkout access but it was secure and the area was safe. And it was actually easy to get to/from my car from the first floor . The location was great for us, a short distance from the main highway but close to restaurants, cvs, etc. The only issue was a broken ice machine on the first floor but the front desk assistant offered to fill my cooler in the bar rather than having me trek to the 3rd floor, where the other machine was.

The overall experience was very pleasant.

Breakfast was consistently eggs, sausage/bacon, hash browns. Occasional waffles and pancakes, all in chafing dishes. Standard but they keep it filled and it’s not dried out. The sitting area has a lot of spots where you can sit in large groups or in a. Quiet corner. 15/10 would recommend/stay again. The staff are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond for guests. Not just with my needs but they regularly go out of their way for guest requests. Facilities are clean. Bathroom spotless. I really enjoyed this hotel, I had to travel for work a few nights a week and while this was more expensive and further away from my job than some, it was worth the money, I work on a tablet so I had the choice to work in several different spots on the patio or on my small balcony.

The property appears to have been recently renovated and the interior looks beautiful, modern, and aesthetic. My only real complaint is the carpeting in the rooms. Our 1st-floor room had a pretty strong odor when we walked in, almost like it had previously been a smoking or pet-friendly room. It was strong enough that I worried our clothes might pick up the smell. Since the sink stopper was also broken in that bathroom, I ended up asking to switch rooms, and the staff were fantastic about accommodating us. Our 2nd-floor room was better and didn’t have the odor. The bed was comfortable, shower had great water pressure, and the room had a huge TV, microwave, coffee maker, and everything else we needed. The included breakfast was also surprisingly good, with hot options like scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes, plus cereal, fruit, and other basics. Overall, a great stay. I’d just love to see the room carpets replaced with hard flooring to match the rest of the renovation. We would absolutely stay here again!
