The Delegate

The hotel has really warm character. The restaurant is very good, and we really enjoyed the bar. The bathroom was small, with the sink outside the bathroom, we didn’t have consistent real hit water, and the air conditioner on the wall above our ceiling dripped intermittently.

The train whistle in the middle of night woke us us …so make sure and use the sound machine they provide

Great hotel !!

The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, making it a great place to relax after a day out. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend The Delegate to anyone visiting Lexington or the surrounding bourbon country!

This place was amazing. The old building was so cool. We loved our room.

Kevin was great at the front desk, Restaurant/Bar staff was friendly and made you feel special by the time they spend with you recommending drinks and food. Very good experience. I left some clothing in the room when I checked out. Valerie helped me out with that and was great. RECOMMENDED!

The parking on Friday was a nightmare due to the downtown t night. The wifi and tv didn’t work the first two nights. The last night they did move me to another room.

It is a great hotel with unique rooms with tall ceilings which made the room. It also has a great steakhouse in the hotel.

We had an amazing stay, the hotel was immaculate and the staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions, we will definitely stay again when we are in the area

The delegate checked all the boxes. The front desk staff was helpful and welcoming. The hotel is in a convenient location and we did not have any trouble finding parking. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Amazing, you should stay here. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Very unique. It is an old button factory. I probably took pictures for 10 minutes!

This was our first stay at The Delegate but it definitely won’t be the last! The hotel is in a beautiful old building. They kept just enough of the old features (10’ ceilings, brick walls, tall windows) and modernized it so that the rooms are both old and new! The bed was comfy, the room was spacious, there was plenty of lighting if you wanted it bright, everything was spotless, and the bathroom and shower were great. There is a fantastic restaurant and bar right next door, Cypress & Oak. The hotel is in a perfect place to do The Bourbon Trail. There is a great little diner within walking distance for breakfast, The Main St. Diner. Parking is across the street and plentiful. Our only complaint—and it’s not a big one— is that it was a little noisy in our room. We were on the 1st floor and the elevator was nearby. Also the entrance to the restaurant. There was a lot of traffic in that hallway. Next time we will request a 3rd floor room. We highly recommend The Delegate!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. If you’re looking for something different from your typical hotel, this is definitely the place to stay. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful addition to our Bourbon Trail trip, only thing to consider if you have trouble walking up a steep hill look elsewhere. The hill to get into the hotel is something and you have to park at the bottom and walk up

Parking was offsite. Nighttime staff was not very helpful and didn’t seem to like his job.

The restaurant was good.
