Beautiful setting just outside of town. The grounds are very well kept and staff is very friendly. The pool wasn’t heated but that is about the only thing to say something about. I don’t think any pools are heated in Cape Town area.

There was nothing to be liked about my stay, as I was allocated a room that did not accord with the description provided on the booking site.When I pointed this out to the staff I could not be assisted. Being offered 2 free breakfasts for being allocated a room I had not really booked for according to the description on the booking site. The invasive pre-check out experience.

Staff are friendly. Premises are attractive and the room was very comfotable. The location of Room C2 is at the main entrance and can be very noisy, especially when staff arrive at 06:00 in the morning.

In general, they had friendly staff. Throughout our stay, the hot water in the room was consistently discoloured (dark yellow/brown, resembling rust) from all taps, including the shower, sink, and bathtub, posing a clear hygiene and health concern. Although we complained to reception on the first day and maintenance attended, the issue was only temporarily “fixed” and repeatedly returned, including on the final night and morning, leaving the room unusable for normal bathing. No effective solution, room change, or alternative was offered by the hotel at any point until the last day. Being forced to shower, wash, and brush our teeth with visibly dirty water completely ruined the stay and was unacceptable for a property advertised as a luxury 4-star hotel.

Spacious and clean. Very well appointed. There were a lot of steps to the property which was not a problem for us but might be a challenge for the less able.

The location was excellent.. the staff Sean was very helpful.. they set up the fireplace for us which kept us nice and warm Due to the rains and some maintenance work by the municipality the water was a bit muddy like... The staff tried to help..but this was something they couldn't fix..

NOTHING. ONLY THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY We wanted to book in 14h however room was not ready, with a bad odour present in room. The curtains were torn, dirty and creased. The carpet was dirty and replacement well overdue. Chandelier has various different bulbs. Cracks on patio and not level. Looked out into unfinished and green pool of unit next door. First told of special for Dinner and then told Dinner no longer being served that night. For "Honeymoon suite" we were VERY disappointed.
