Royal Inn Motel

Room number 12 smells bad from cigarette smoke. There was no soap in the room. The walls were paper thin. Other than that it was a cheap motel that was okay to get enough sleep to keep driving again. No better than a 5/10 idk what these other reviews are talking about.

Room was clean, close to businesses, even the grounds were in really nice shape.

Everything was fine with the property and the value, but oh my God the smoky smell in the non-smoking rooms was overpowering. Check your room first because my non-smoking room smelled just like a smoking room.

Perfect for one night

Staff was friendly and room had a movable table that we found to be very helpful. Parking was quite sufficient eith easy access from main road.

I've booked here multiple times, its a great price for a room to crash in after a night out. The staff is always friendly, and its a quick check in. I would tell my friends from out of town to stay at this hotel over some of the more pricey ones, if you just need a bed microwave mini fridge and some coffee, this will meet your needs. There was a noisy room upstairs. I believe a kid was up there. It was no big deal though. They didnt make noise at night. Other than that everything was up to standard.

The place was clean, parking was right in front of my door, bed was comfortable, thought the unit was nice. I'm only there for 8 hours, just to sleep before the final leg of a 1500 mile trip. Will stay again. The only issue is that the microwave door goes into lockdown after cooking. The only way to get the door open after cooking is to pull the plug.

Comfortable bed and everything was clean No hand rails in bath tub for handicap people

The property is clean and the parking lot is well lit at night. The rooms are always clean and NEVER smell of smoke.

I have never had to stay in a "Smoking Room" before but that is what they had for me and would not let me in a non-smoking room. Not a good night for me!

Great value for the money. Quiet. Beds were comfortable and shower was good. Got in late and smoking rooms were only rooms available. Room was clean and did not smell of smoke. Floor was not carpet so easier to disinfect. Also they apparently accommodate pets Towels could use an upgrade. No lid on the toilet seat therefore nowhere to put clothes/towel while showering. No tissues.

Affordable stay in a clean and comfortable room. Property is decently managed and maintained. Check-in process was easy and straightforward. They could pay closer attention to details, such as making sure the coffee maker is cleaned and checking the tub/tile for anything needing maintenance or repair. Given the affordable price and how clean the room was in general, these are just small things for improvement. I have no complaints.

Other than the fridge wasn’t working it was a great stay. Nice to have them cold when you arrive.

This place was great for a night when I was in the middle of an 18 hour drive. It was very clean and it is a quick detour from the highway.
