When we got to our VRBO rental we emptied everything we had in room out on the porch, shook all our clothing out, wiped down our bags Thankfully VRBO had a washer and dryer so I washed all our clothing. Not something I really wanted to do but had too.

The rest was really bad. The floor on the far side of the bed sunk down when you stepped on it. It literally felt like you were going to fall through, it was dangerous. The paint was chipping off the walls, the MANY spots of patched drywall compound were caked on the walls (why bother sanding!), Mix-matched unpainted molding lined the bathroom, there were huge gaps every 6-7" along the seams of the plastic sheeting on the bathroom walls. The ice machines were caked with mineral deposits. There were unkept people hanging around with their room doors open, looking like hoarders. It's too bad that the place is in such disrepair because the people that run the hotel were great, they just happened to be working in a place that is VERY much in need of repairs and care.

Good for a quick stay. A little run down.

Nasty!!!!!

The location is great the setup is great the pool is clean and someone is at the front desk at all hours there's an exercise room and decent breakfast. There's also a Thai restaurant within and the staff is very eager to help with any issues.. Close to Skyline Drive and other outdoor activities. Barefoot on the floor 20 minutes my feet were black. I declare these rooms do not get cleaned properly as I had dog hair in the tub drain to the extent of tub not draining. It was also a lot of dog hair all over the rim and stuck into the caulk in the bathroom. The cleanliness or lack thereof of the rooms and the stairwells is my only complaint. I will be visiting again but I will be bringing bleach and a Swiffer

The pictures show a better condition than the place. The big issue is bugs in the room. It was late and we were tired after a long drive. There was one in the room when we checked in but otherwise ok. By morning we realized the problem was worse and were out ASAP.

Place was very run down. It's not as pictured. When I drove up I was so concerned with the condition that I decided to book a different hotel despite having already paid for this one.

We booked two rooms together on single booking, expecting rooms to be together as it’s single booking. Both rooms were allocated in completely different area on a different floor. When we checked in late, the person on the reception desk specifically mentioned breakfast is available till 10am. In the morning the same person started to put away breakfast at 9am, even after requesting him at 9:01am to make just one waffle for kids he didn’t allow and put away waffle maker. When confronted him that he only mentioned 10am he denied and said that. If management of the hotel is checking this review then they can see camera recordings to know what he said at the time on check-in. I have not see such a horrible insensitive customer service. Please stay away from this hotel if you expect little bit of customer service.

it is set up perfect for hikers on the AT! the floors of the room are even fake hard wood/ liniment to accommodate all the dirt we show up with. there is free breakfast, laundry, n the location is perfect for walking into town absolutely everything was as expected. its not fancy but its perfectly functional.

Love the breakfast, location, price.

Took my money, rude, wouldn’t communicate . Stay away !

The room was ok, restroom could be better. Floors in shower was moldy. Property was bad! Double zeros!! Giant roach outside! Giant!! I see the “share photos” darn!! I should have taken some of the outside!! Looks like a homeless place!

The location also felt unsafe. As a parent traveling with two children and being placed in a room at the back of the property, I was genuinely uneasy walking outside, especially at night. The only reason I didn’t complain was because we were staying for just one night and planned to leave first thing in the morning. To make matters worse, the breakfast area smelled like old mop water, and breakfast ended at 9:00 a.m., which felt unusually early for travelers. I couldn’t leave quickly enough. I was especially disappointed because I’ve stayed at other Baymont properties in the past and had positive experiences. Unfortunately, this location did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, or safety. I will not be returning.

Great hotel for a rest and clean up!

Location Sketchy customers and activities.

Nothing. The rooms were dirty and smelt awful. Everything apart from the gentleman on the front desk who was very kind when we immediately decided we couldn’t stay due to the disgusting nature of the property.
-
Convenient location to Skyline drive, and the caverns. 35 min from Lurray caverns. The room was clean, no issues. Breakfast was common and will get you through. Place was kept clean and staff was really nice.
