We stopped in on a road trip for a quick sleep. The room was clean and more updated than we expected from the photos. When leaving early the next morning, we had some car troubles. Nikki, a hotel employee, saw us struggling in the parking lot and asked if we needed help as she was leaving. She went and got their maintenance worker (who also works on her car) to help us. Reed inspected everything on our car and addressed our concerns, reassuring us that it was an electrical issue and not anything that should affect our driving. He gave us the peace of mind we needed for our 14 hour drive ahead of us. Both employees were extremely kind and helpful, and we are so grateful to them for taking the time to help us out. Wonderful stay and people!

This is an amazing location. There are several food options all within walking distance. A Vietnam War monument next door and a dinosaur museum across the street.

Had to be the worst hotel i stayed at.Room never got cleaned , stayed here for 5 nights. Carpet coming apart & all dirty w stains

They added security to our bill without telling us and took 10 days to refund it. At time of refund they levied a charge for a “dirty” sheet. I’ve have an impeccable record with Expedia, Airbnb and Wyndham. We treat our accommodations as our own when we travel. It was a small charge but the point is their questionable practices that appear to be standard. Find another option in Fruita. Don’t be burned by these folks.

The room was clean and well furnished. The A/C was loud, and the TV was very limited--no local channels or premium. Breakfast was very limited.
