Super 8 by Wyndham Gallup

They serve a continental style breakfast. Stayed in a King room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The chair & dresser look dated, but both were actually in very good condition. I thought it gave the room some charm. Even the high back, leather office chair looked brand new! I've seen furniture in upscale hotels in worse condition and broken. Located on a rather quiet stretch of road. There's an abandon gas station next door, but the property wasn't trashy. Even adequate lighting in parking lot.

The bed was nice. The pool isnt heated but indoors. Breakfast is standard. Parking for commercial vehicles was difficult.

I chose this hotel because I thought that being a Wyndham held a certain standard. It was old, smelly and not well kept. The white bedcovers had stains. The bathroom was old with a bad pain job, the sink just had an open hole. It was summer and and the small lobby and hallways were very, very hot. We got there at 9pm and our room was roasting. We turned on the air conditioner that was under the window, but it didn't cool the room down till about 3 am. Also, the train tracks are right across the street and woke me up several times during the night. The staff barely acknowledged us when we checked in, and when we were checking out, the person in charge through the night had their spouse there and they were loudly arguing outside as we loaded our van. I would not recommend. I will say that my children really enjoyed the pool, so that was the one good thing.

Horrible experience. Arrived with no staff to be found. Searched inside and out for employees. Called hotel number multiple times only to get voicemail. Pushed ring doorbell/camera with no answer. Dialed 0 on the phone as instructed at front desk for help 15 times only to get a busy signal every time. Banged on glass partition with no answer. Called their corporate number and they tried to reach them for 15 minutes before filing case number complaint and giving up. We finally called the police in case of foul play or medical emergency. My son finally located the female owner (?) chatting with another employee in another room. She finally came in accusing us, and other guests that had arrived, of lying saying she'd been away from desk for less than 15 minutes. She was extremely rude and offered nothing for our time and troubles. I have no idea how this place is in business.

Drainage in the bath tub kept backing up and bugs in the restroom in the morning

Unfortunately the whole place was dirty including my room. It STUNK. Hotel was extremely hot with no garbage cans except the one in the room. Staff got irritated when I asked for towels for the kids to swim. Definitely wouldn't stop here again

I couldn't sleep; a train passed very frequently. The property is very old and in need of maintenance. It was not clean enough, and to top it off, they charged me the deposit without reason. I left it even cleaner and more organized than it was. I do not recommend this place at all.

The place was disgusting, they did not turn the air on so the room was 100 degrees when we arrived at 1am. None of us slept because it was so hot. My daughter brushed her teeth and the sink just filled up with water and wouldn't drain. Cockroaches ran all around the lobby. We did not even trust the complimentary breakfast. I now have a random charge by the hotel on top of my Expedia charge that I have to dispute it with my credit card.

No excessive effort or accompanying dollars seem to have exhausted themselves in the running of this hotel.

Rooms could use a lil upgrade. The window covers need to be thicker. They’re a little see through. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Room smelled and had water damage on the floor next to the parking lot. Maybe due to rain.

Found screw on parking lot, no shampoo, hand soap or body wash in dispensers. Waited about 15 minutes for front room clerk to check in. I just skip breakfast entirely. Not worth my time.

One of my favorite hotels. The King room is spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Motel is better than most. No extra things offered but it's comfortable and clean.

Good property for the price.

The shower was nice. The beds were comfy. Waffles for breakfast. My only downside was that the dryer got too hot and needed extra time to cool in order to finish drying my laundry.
