Super 8 by Wyndham Garland/Rowlett/East Dallas Area

In my first room, the television didn’t work, and there were cigarette burns in the carpet—even though the hotel is advertised as non‑smoking. In my second room, the shower curtain rod was so poorly installed that it couldn’t keep water inside the shower. The breakfast service was one of the worst I’ve experienced. The property has only about 20 parking spaces for roughly 40 guest rooms, and the exit driveway is designed for compact cars only. There was also an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot taking up two spaces. The only positive is that I only needed the rooms so my family could take showers while our hot water tank at home was being replaced. Otherwise, this stay would have been completely unacceptable.

It was a 7 minute walk from my family.

Bed was comfortable, decent price Hallways were warm and smelled, elevator was dirty, killed a roach in my room, breakfast was very limited choices.

The bed and room was clean. The young lady that checked me in had a nasty attitude. She first checked me into room 204 it smelled like straight mildew. The ceiling had mold spots on it and water was dripping from the ceiling onto the bed. When I asked for another room. The girl at the front desk first lied to me and said they don't have any more rooms. She said sleep in the molded room and they will give me another room the next day. I asked for a refund then all of a sudden she found another room. Room 207 was not the king size single I paid for and the bath tub had hair in it. Letting me know it had not been cleaned

Segunda habitación, la luz del baño no funcionaba. Tercera habitacion, el aire acondicionado solo tiraba aire por las dos rejillas de la derecha y nada por las de la izquierda. El primer día del desayuno, la leche estaba mala y la masa para hacer gofres también, estaban ácidas, para habernos intoxicado. Y el último día de desayuno, la maquina de hacer gofres tenía masa pegada por todas partes y era imposible hacer gofres, al personal no le importó en absoluto ni intentó arreglar la situación. No se cómo tiene tan buena puntuación este super 8, no es un buen hotel en absoluto.

We only liked the location to our purpose for our visit. #1. NONE of the staff could get our reservation correct! #2. The rating for this property is totally wrong!!! The rating should be -5 out of a positive 1-10. #3. There are individuals living permanently at this property. #4. There is an odor of illegal substances being consumed 24/7. We could go on and on. We think this property should be DROPPED from your offerings FOREVER!!!!

The shower faucet didn't work very well. Only hot water came out

It met my basic needs. Complaints: A shower head that leaked all over; the desk chair is shot and unadjustable; my original room had no air conditioning for the Dallas heat and they knew it beforehand--the AC was broken and all of its knobs and buttons were missing. Having to beg a room at 10:30 pm after having booked it weeks earlier is bad form.

Although the hotel needs work. The staff is excellent and very kind. Customer service is 5 stars.

After checking front desk staff locked up and left for the night. Once we got to out room found multiple stains in carpet along with cigarette burns, and multiple roaches. The hallways had a strong spoiled moldy smell. Definitely will not stay her again.

Although the hotel needs work, the staff is very pleasant and a tentative to your needs. They accessed every situation and fixed it immediately. I would recommend that if you need long term stays, this is the place.

I needed a short sabbatical, I got a very nice sleep the two nights that I stayed. No pool, but still a nice stay.
