Front desk employee was rude

I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the front desk was fine they did what they could, the rooms and property however are a different story. The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes and did not seemed to be as updated as the photos made it seem. There were red solo cups littered throughout the outside of some hotel rooms as well as it smelling like weed. My mom also had a stranger approach her in the parking lot and we did not even have a phone in the hotel room. We didn’t feel safe there and decided to leave pretty much immediately. They don’t so refund unfortunately so I don’t recommend booking here if you have the budget to go somewhere else.

The walls had paint crackss.

The blankets were not warm enough. We had a storm come in and I nearly froze trying to sleep. Had to buy extra blankets for the second night to stay warm

I stayed at this location in Garland for 1 night. The room was well cleaned. The bed sheets need to be replaced. The room had a smell to it, but overall it was good. It was quiet for the most part, especially being near I30 and a truck stop. The door of the room I stayed in on the bottom level, the weather strip on the bottom of the door was missing. I had to place a towel on the door, so critters would not come in the room.

Friendly atmosphere

Don’t know what all the positive reviews are for this place but it’s a “get what you pay for” type of motel. Typical 70 yr old+ roadside motel with an obvious emphasis on cutting costs wherever possible, from no breakfast to old crappy furniture, threadbare towels and uncomfortable mattresses with no blankets. Typical window AC that runs too loud to sleep. Would strongly not recommend. Last motel 6 I stayed at was FAR superior to this dump.

Parking was easy and readily available. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Location is not easy access and the microwave did not work. Was promised that they were going to exchange it for a working one. They never did accommodate us for the 3 days there.

Wasn’t clean , found a dead cockroach into bathroom. The toilet bowl was very dirty.

Unhelpful and unresponsive. I called 10 times before someone picked up.

Did not have any necessities like a closet to hang clothes in or a microwave
