Hyatt Place Memphis/Germantown

Decent hotel, very nice staff, good complimentary breakfast. Foul smell coming from ? Shower drain? Not sure, but awful smell, they said we could not swap, no other rooms were available at the level we paid for, then they tried to send someone with a spray to conceal the smell, but it was still perceptible. Terrible AC system, loud and difficult to fine tune. Beds were pretty hard too.

My room very clean as well as the halls and common areas that we saw. The staff answered all our questions and offered suggestions to help out. The breakfast was better than expected with a good selection of food. There was plenty of parking. All things considered, I would recommend Hyatt to anyone looking for a place to stay while traveling.

Thank you for hosting our team from New Orleans! We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed our time. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it easy to get to all of our destinations. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was a great way to start each day. We also loved the outdoor pool after long days at the track. If you’re looking for nearby places to eat, we highly recommend Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, Eggs on the Grill, and Kami Ramen Bar—they were all fantastic! We had a blast and would definitely stay here again.

I love the whole vibe

This is nice place in a pretty part of Germantown. Property appears newish and has plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. This was our second time at the hotel, and we drove a little out of our way to return.

The only thing that could have been improved was more clean towels when guests stay multiple nights.

The room itself was a bit outdated with unclean carpet and the fact of having the sink outside of the bathroom is annoying and not practical. However the front desk staff at night shift were so helpful and amazing and very welcoming. Thank you to the staff

My overall stay was great. What I didnt like was that I booked through a 3rd party and selected to pay at the property, but was threatened to have my room canceled because of a pre authorization before I made it to the property. I had never had that happen before when selecting to pay for my stay when I arrived. Other than that everything was great.

Breakfast was well stocked and kept current.

Breakfast buffet was fresh and warm. Room was clean.

We enjoyed our stay other than the smallest claustrophobic bathroom and the half shower door that was useless that let shower water drain all over the bathroom floor!!!

The rooms were very clean and updated. It was a busy weekend but the lobby area, breakfast area and pool area were not as clean and nor kept as well as should be with price paid. There was also a mistake with my reservation at my check in. The desk clerk and manager were rude. Instead of apologizing they blamed me for the mistake. I was polite but customer service was sorely lacking. Disappointing!

Room was huge and really clean. Very helpful staff and nice breakfast. I wlll definitely stay again.
