Rodeway Inn Goddard

This was probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in on my trip so far. The amenities were awesome, even an ironing board and iron. Good coffee and light breakfast in the office. Bed was great, bathroom clean,

I ran out of body wash in the shower, asked to have the dispenser refilled but no action was taken. Fortunately there was a bar soap I could use. I loved everything else about the room.

This is an older property but well maintained. The rooms were very clean. The staff was amazing. My friend and I were there for one might. When my friend woke up she was very sick and asked me to reserve her room for another day. The staff was most helpful. I was afraid my friend would have to move rooms. She didn't have to move. Long story short; my friend decided she wanted to go home (3 hours away). I went back to see if I could get a refund and there was no issues. The staff was sooooo nice. We will come back next spring and stay there.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable

Breakfast minimal. Juice machine out of order. No toaster. Unattended. Coffee ok.

Our room smelled wet. Breakfast was nonexistent. A jug of Sunny D with less than half a cup. No pancakes or waffles. Housekeeping only brought one washcloth for our second night. Beds are a bit on the thin side, can feel the under part of the bed.

Old motel at a good rate. Only downsides are super bright parking lot lighting even with the blinds closed and a little noisy from the highway.

The ladies from housekeeping were so rude so unpleasant. They refused to give us fresh towels to conserve water. Until finally we gave them the wet towels we had they gave us fresh towels. For the amount we paid for these rooms over $300 getting fresh towels should not be a battle. They don’t refund the pet deposit regardless if your pet messes the room which mine did not.

The first room we were given, the floor has not been swept. We were moved to a second room with the same issue. We then moved into our third room which still had pee in the toilet. We decided to just stick with that third room. The manager was helpful on getting us moved around. The property is updated and looks nice. The rooms are nicely painted and appointed. The exterior has bright lights in the parking lot to make you feel safe. The parking lot is tight because they also rent Uhaul out of it but we still found parking Definitely a budget friendly motel I would stay at again even with the minor issues.

Bed was old, had dip marks and was very uncomfortable.

For the price, it was a good stay. Bed wasn’t terrible. Sirens kept going off at all hours of the night. For the most part, it was clean enough, but could use more of a deep cleaning in some areas. Breakfast was almost non existent.

The breakfast was all calories and no nutrition. Except for the apple.
