Travelodge by Wyndham Golden/Denver

The room was not clean, had a smell that was not acceptable. The carpet was also dirty and had a smell. Also the TV remote did not work and when try to call the front desk, discovered the phone did not work either. Very outdated and poor condition of the room. Would never stay there again.

I like that it's pet friendly and I liked the location. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable. It would help to have hand rails in the shower.

The only reason we stayed one night was because Downtown Golden was booked full. Room very dated and dirty carpet. We arrived late and did not notice the smell until the morning. Our friends traveling with us had ants in their room. Mattress and pillows not comfortable. No recommendation to stay here.

You get what you pay for. It was sub par, uncomfortable, and not very clean. I'd recommend paying a bit more for a better stay.

A clean, reasonably priced hotel to recharge from a day of activities. The location offered easy access to all desired needs, and it was well suited as the departure hub to the day's recreation.

When I showed up there was a woman in the lobby yelling about someone being in her room when she went into it and they refunded her but wanted her to pay more to get a new room. The bathroom was covered in hair, the beds were not queens they were fulls there was a red stain on the mattress. It was just gross.

The guy that works there during the night is super aggressive!!!

Advertised with free breakfast - there was no breakfast. Put us in third floor with no working elevators. Outside stairs were the only access and they were in bad shape. Stained sheets. No room to get in the bathroom between the door and toilet. Dirty and stinky.

Dirty room! Woke up in the morning and my mom then noticed she was sleeping on a bloody pillow case! So disgusting! Would never stay here again!!!

Never had anyone clean the room all the time I was there 3 nights. All the negative reviews you read are accurate. Parking was ok. Never had any breakfast available there as advertised. Was a LaQunta when I made reservation but became Travel Lodge when I got there. They have a lot of work to do with it. Don’t let their pictures fool you.

There was a bad smell in the room.

Hotel was going through some change in management apparently. Was advertised as offering breakfast, but staff said they were not sure if the new management would continue that so they voluntarily removed breakfast from the facility. Very disappointing and had to make last minute changes to the packed itinerary to adjust for this.

What are absolutely disgusting place pictures are very deceiving. Doesn’t look anything like it and there’s a bunch of drug addicts crackheads that live in their cars in the parking lot. Tried to get some kind of refund or compensation and they wouldn’t even answer the phone or return a call when I left a message and Expedia will do nothing about it. I’ve been with them for quite some time in the hotels just keep getting worse and worse.

This was by far the worse Wyndham property I have ever stayed at. The room was filthy, the property was old and not maintained. When booking it said breakfast was included and there was no breakfast, coffee or anything. The TV didn’t work, there was no phone in the room. The bathroom was disgusting, the sheets were filthy. It was a terrible place and I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

I am the daughter of a long time La Quinta GM. The room upon arrival had NO toilet paper! One of the receptacles is hanging off the wall! The room had spiders! The sink in the bathroom was hanging off from the counter top. There is literally an inch of air from the sink to the countertop! The room definitely needs maintenance please. The young woman that checked us in was amazing!!! Props to her, we loved her! The staff greeted us at the door. That was nice! The staff was helpful and professional. It was 4th of July weekend and the pool was closed for maintenance. The pool should be open for the summer months!! I would be willing to give this place a second chance because of the staff! Please get some maintenance going!

door locks are broken, the bedding and the pillows were terrible. Everything was dirty, and there was way more here in the shower than any of the reviews showed, which I couldn't quite believe.. Spend the extra $50 to go somewhere nice.
