I am the daughter of a long time La Quinta GM. The room upon arrival had NO toilet paper! One of the receptacles is hanging off the wall! The room had spiders! The sink in the bathroom was hanging off from the counter top. There is literally an inch of air from the sink to the countertop! The room definitely needs maintenance please. The young woman that checked us in was amazing!!! Props to her, we loved her! The staff greeted us at the door. That was nice! The staff was helpful and professional. It was 4th of July weekend and the pool was closed for maintenance. The pool should be open for the summer months!! I would be willing to give this place a second chance because of the staff! Please get some maintenance going!

door locks are broken, the bedding and the pillows were terrible. Everything was dirty, and there was way more here in the shower than any of the reviews showed, which I couldn't quite believe.. Spend the extra $50 to go somewhere nice.

There were signs of some upgrades such as decent furniture and window dressings, but the room smelled musty, which is strange for colorado, and the pool was shut down because one guest complained, so ruined it for everybody, that just didn't seem right...

The room had no toilet paper, only realized after using it. Embarrassing but an easy fix. The room had no air conditioning, no working windows, just a few fans with outside temperatures over 90 degrees. Maybe could have tolerated. The bed was sunken in. The hotel advertised free breakfast in the morning, front desk informed my husband there was no breakfast all. The kicker was, after we returned from dinner, was the infestation of bugs all over the bathroom and the wet bar. Bugs were climbing all over my bathroom toiletries and makeup. My dog was itching itself. It was deplorable. We left immediately. On the way to our car there was a strung junkie in the lobby and someone passed out in the bushes.

It had a lot of potential with the outdoor pool and the good location, but they seem to be struggling with staffing.

We were initially given a room that smelled of urine and we could not get the bathroom door to open. We were offered the use of the restroom in the main area that that was beyond description in terms of filthy. We declined that opportunity and asked for another room; this room turned out to be better than the first. The outdoor walkways and elevator were very dirty/sticky and much in need of a power washer. Eating the meager breakfast, or anything, in this place was not an option. The person on duty that night/morning seemed oblivious to our experience. Will not stay at a Wyndom property again.

The staff did the best they could during the transition. A one star was a stretch. Our first room was uncleaned and not reset. The 2nd room (which we ended up having to stay in) had wet carpet. The 3rd room, which the front desk secretary went to inspect was so bad she said she wouldn't even stay in it. The health inspector shut the pool down our 2nd day. No breakfast. The 1st day they were using up the rest of the waffle mix under the LaQuinta. No breakfast the rest of the stay. The primary response from the front desk about any questions was: Come back at 3p.m.

Our room was decent and the bed was comfortable. The building itself seemed pretty run down.

The pictures were beautiful Our toilet wasn’t even cleaned so we couldn’t use it the entire time and had to drive to the Maverick and use the bathroom there. Also, it smelled like cat pee.

The mold in the bathtub was enough to make me want to leave but this was an emergency stay so I dealt with it. Couldn’t be bothered to put an .98 cent spindle on the toilet holder or provide a dish to put the measly soap bar Seems unfair that they can charge you to bring in a pet but can’t pay to clean the rooms better. Don’t recommend

The hotel appears to be quite dated, likely built several decades ago, as evidenced by the outdated bathroom fixtures and trim. Although the beds, carpet, and televisions seem to have been updated more recently, the showers and sinks appear to be original and in poor condition. Despite the property now being designated non-smoking, my initial room clearly retained the odor and atmosphere of a former smoking room. In addition, the air conditioning in the first room did not work, and the toilet seat was broken. After being unable to rest comfortably, I went to the lobby, where the staff did courteously provide me with a different room. Unfortunately, the second room presented a different set of problems. While the air conditioning functioned properly, the room had a strong urine odor, and the carpet was sticky. Overall, despite the low price, the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the hotel were unacceptable. I would not recommend this property to others

Nice spacious room, ample parking, comfortable bed, two gas stations and Dennys next door. Hotel breakfast is basic and to be desired but it’s free. I’ll stay again for sure b

The room rate was cheap compared to others however, don’t expect much in the way of amenities. This looks like it was a nice property in the past, but it has been neglected for some time. Since Travelodge purchased the property, they are no longer offering continental breakfast however, when you book a room through Expedia, it mentions that it is available. That’s partially true. They did have milk, cereal, waffles, and hard-boiled eggs. That’s it. The bedding was clean and the room for the most part was clean as well. Unfortunately, since I’ve seen three rooms in the last week, the property looks like it will cost a fortune to revamp. Perhaps that’s why Travelodge purchased it. They’ll buy a distress property and bleed it dry.
