Its seems like the kitchen and bar could stay open later on a Friday and Saturday night.

The staff interactions were consistently friendly. The property is well maintained and clean. The pool areas, both indoor and out, were well kept, although there was a great deal of traffic noise from nearby I70! The only thing that I didn’t care for during our visit was the tight quarters in bathroom in our room, as it was impossible for two people to occupy it the same time.

Easy access

The location was great. We were there for a concert at the Red Rock Amphitheater and also spent time in Golden and the drive to both locations was short and easy. We did not eat at the hotel but there is plenty of popular shopping places and restaurants 5 minutes away as well as the restaurant and bar in the hotel. Room was clean, roomy and bed was comfortable. Outdoor and indoor pool were very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Also the night time staff wasn't rude but they were definitely on a different vibe than the daytime staff. I could see other folks who are looking for a more friendly experience probably have a negative reaction to this. Don't be fooled by the pics. This hotel is older than it looks, which you will notice walking through the halls with peeling wallpaper, thermostats dangling on the walls, and the very out dated furniture in the rooms. And the rooms are extremely small for a 4 day stay. The AC system was extremely poor, not moving any air around in the room at all. Next is the balcony mountain pics, these were definitely falsely advertised. Most balconies are blocked by large trees and all overlook the parking lot. Maybe the one balcony where they got the pic from would be a good one to stay in. Lastly, is the beds. We reserved a king size bed, 6 months prior and got two full size beds. Not even queen sized. These beds were terrible. Both mattresses you sank into the middle of the bed making it impossible for me to even sleep in the same bed with my wife. The outdoor pool had three staff members working on a Saturday and two maintenance workers moving furniture. The pool area was riddled with cups, beer and Truly cans which not one staff member cleaned up.

Location is convenient Looking worn, the floor in our room was soaking wet in about a 10 foot by 5 foot area. We mentioned it to the front desk and nothing was done.

The hotel is decent anda great location for Red Rocks Amphitheater, it is a 7 min drive! I paid for a Mountain View room and got no mountains, but a great view of Whole Foods. When I asked about it, I was told it is in the side that faces the mountains, however they did move me to a room that had a bit better view behind the huge utility unit right in front of the window! The $22 buffet breakfast was awful. There was a huge selection and the eggs, bacon and sausage were good, but fruit was tasteless, danishes were rock hard. We went another day to a local spot, ordered the most expensive $18 breakfast which gave you a little of everything which was 100 times better. The staff was nice. All and all it was a decent start would not necessarily seem it out for another start but wouldn’t be upset about staying again.

Overall, a great property and a great stay with very friendly staff, from front desk to bar. The property could definitely benefit from a renovation; not only does it look a bit dated now, but there are invisible signs of wear and tear. That wouldn’t stop me from staying there again, though!

Good location, close to multiple restaurants and mall. We had an issue with the outlet on the study table lamp. Connected a hair dryer to it and after a minute it started sparking. Had to disconnect power to lamp. Front desk was notified.

There are zero amenities except the mini fridge in the room but there’s no microwave so it’s kind of pointless. No restaurant is open before 4:00 just room service (which is more like DoorDash and they charge you a couple of fees to bring it) I wouldn’t stay there again.

This property and staff make for a great place to stay in Golden, CO. The staff, beginning with the front desk, were always very helpful, along with very courteous housekeeping personnel. I only rated this Marriott as "Good" due to it being a bit dated in some need of modernization for the area.

The room was very clean when I got there but the room service all week was horrible.
