Courtyard by Marriott Denver Golden/Red Rocks

Booked a room and the room was pretty dirty I tried to settle in but really just couldn’t the shower was the main part that was really dirty. BUTTT I called front desk and shared my experience and immediately received an apology and was able to switch rooms immediately after I had called. The next room was substantially cleaner and I was able to relax. Front desk was extremely helpful and so sweet!!

Great location, close proximity to Red Rocks and many restaurants

The location was great, close drive to Redrock's Theater for our concert. BUT it was very loud because of highway noise. Breakfast was really good. We paid extra to have a larger room with a balcony to sit out and enjoy the mountain views. The mountain views were completely obstructed from grown trees from our balcony. The balcony was ONLY the width of the chair with a table in between that you had to step over the table to get to the other chair. It was located directly on the highway, and you could not even have a conversation while sitting out there because of the highway noise.

It was convenient, comfortable. We were only there for a one night stay. It says there Is breakfast For $15 and that’s not true. They wouldn’t adjust.

I booked theough expedia a week prior and showed up the day of and they didn't have room for us because something didn't get communicated through expedia and them. That wasn't the issue necessarily, the hotel told us they would get on and initiate the refund because $300 was already pulled from my bank account. I called the hotel a week later and they never did that so I had to ask the front desk to initiate it. Hoping for the full refund within the next week.

Location was good for the concert at red rock. A shuttle to Red Rock would have been nice and free breakfast

Although we paid $300 a night we were told we didn’t qualify for breakfast. We ate out both mornings. I didn’t like not having a breakfast.

It had all the amenities. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Great rooms all the comforts of home. I’d definitely go there again.

The room was also advertised as a guaranteed Mountain View. However our room was facing the backside of the property and looking at roads and parking lots and other buildings - no mountain in site! When we spoke to hotel management, they said all issues would need to be brought up with Hotels.com since the booking was through them. When I contacted Hotels.com, I was told they could not do anything unless the hotel approved, and the hotel refused to approve any type of refund. The website representative offered me $75 in rewards cash, which wouldn't even cover half of one night of our stay. I told them that was an unacceptable offer, and the representative told me "Take it or leave it!" I was astonished at this inappropriate customer service, and demanded to speak with a manager. They upped my offer to $100 in credit, which again is not even covering one night of our stay. I refused unless I was given a full refund, which they denied. You have lost a customer for life!

Check in and Check out was easy The air conditioner in our room was really loud, it sounded as if it was on its last leg. So it was hard to sleep that night.

Service was excellent and the ladies in the kitchen area were very kind, we were running late for breakfast and ladies, still offered to make eggs for my daughters while they cleaning, after a long trip, we felt blessed, thank you 🙏
