The bed was fine The shower didn't drain, overflowed, maintenance woke us up early in the morning to yell at us because apparently the overflowed water leaked through the wall and into the hallway. We had never noticed since my wife had showered just before sleeping.

Nothing. This place is a scam This place is a scam. They ignored my confirmed Booking.com reservation, told me to book directly through their website instead, and then offered me the "only available room" for twice the booked price. The front desk clerk was disrespectful, misogynistic, and I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

Good location to the Stampede This is a low income hotel- lots of people loitering around the property doing drugs. The hotel hallways smelled musty. the sheets on the bed were scratchy and the pillows were soft and cheap. No breakfast or coffee and no air conditioning and it was noisy!

Price was good compared to other hotels in the area People harassing you while you move luggage. Banging on doors. Very sketch place.

Location: Relatively close to the University, even closer to the main downtown area. I arrived and the guy behind the plexiglass barrier at reception said they didn't have my reservation in their system, that this happens a lot with Booking.com. Thankfully they were helpful enough to look through their messaging system to find an email I responded to which did prove I made the reservation and gave me the one available room at the rate I was quoted through Booking.com. Almost didn't even have a place to stay for the night. Everything else was about as I expected. Slightly dingy and worn. Old heater painted over, a big panel nailed over what might have been a door out back, stained grout in the bathroom. Worst part was being awakened at midnight by what sounded like the upstairs guest moving furniture, dropping things and stomping about. This lasted for an hour before I called the front desk to handle the situation. When attempting to check out at 5:45a, The office was closed with no posted hours. I was lucky enough to be able to complete my business in the morning and return just before the checkout cut off time.

A/C was not working in first room, free standing fan made my throat and sinuses very dry, no microwave and zero toilet tissue!! Second room had no phone, toilet paper holder was off the wall.

this was a two week stay for work. On the third night there was a big shootout. At least 12 bullets hit the door next to ours. We had to leave rooms for the entire day while police investigated the crime scene. Days later we came back from work after midnight and our room keys didn’t work. There was nobody at the desk. Nobody answered the phone and we simply had a sleep in our truck until the office open the next day.. the office was not apologetic. We decided to blame it on us somehow like we did something wrong with the key.s. I asked for a refund on the one night and they basically told me to kick sand.. I asked to resolve the situation with the owner, and I never received a call back and basically was told that the owner doesn’t care about reviews. Stay far away..

The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel itself was very run down, rooms were musty smelling, paint peeling, tub peeling, bed were a doule maybe a full size definitely not queen. There were a bunch of the rooms that had people living there, that were very sketchy. I didnt feel the safest, went straight from the car to the locked room with my kids. We left early, I didn't even try for a refund, get what you pay for I guess, it was decently priced.
