The room door didn't lock. We had to shoulder push in the door and lift it to get it to lock. No one on site to look at it or fix it....Just the front desk agent. She took our number and said she would have the manager call, but we never received a call back. They were sold out and no other rooms to move us into. The breakfast area looked new. How this has such great reviews is beyond me. We traveled with another couple, they also got stuck in a room yet to be updated. Pictures online are not what we had. Very disappointed.

The staff was friendly and sweet, the room was clean but the terrible thing about our stay is they allow the public to go there & swim. It was packed & nowhere to sit with people who aren’t staying there also there was a fully dressed lady in the hot tub literally taking a bath & with picking at her feet! It was my daughter’s 10th birthday & I had to make her leave it was so nasty & disgusting . Very disappointed with our stay

Perfect stay

We got changed to a second room and it was better. The food was ok! I don’t think I would stay here again!

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was everyone we encountered in housekeeping. The room was clean, grounds well maintained and beautiful, the breakfast not fancy, but good. I’d definitely stay again.

Everything was really nice. I travel with a small dog, so I think I was in a designated pet room. It did have a bad smell.

Lastly, if you're looking for a comfortable bed, this is not the hotel for you. Beds were HORRIBLE!!! American inn used to have nice comfortable beds but hotels in general seem to be going cheaper and its showing. Laying on a piece of plywood with a air mattress would've been more comfortable. Breakfast was okay, nothing to excellent. Bacon was paper thin with no taste. Diced potatoes dry. We mentioned all concerns to staff over our 3 night stay.

If stayed here a few days before. Including the same room I currently had book. The first day, I noticed the toilet was low flow. Also realized the room phone didn’t make calls out this time without the phone being on speaker. Me being the consumer I am I let it alone without raising a concern. The second day, the microwave overheats and the sink backed up. Which I unclogged myself. After staying up till 1 am while they pretended to fix repairs. They gave me only 10% back for the issue they already knew exsisted and had plenty of time to fix. The mock job just didn’t hold up and me and my family had to pay for it. It rained cats and dogs that day. I went out to grab my family food just for the microwave to go out and for me to have had to transport and install the back up on my own. The manager on duty claimed the manager was unreachable until morning so I can voice my concerns there. I am a vip and platinum member. I was not satisfied with the conclusion of my trip. By the time I was able to get a working microwave. My daughter had already cried herself to sleep from hunger. The resources were there and they could’ve easily moved us. Downgrade or a not, feeding my family is what matters most and American inn general manager didn’t seem to bothered by that. Which leaves me very concerned.

I understand that there are many visitors in the pest control company can only catch what they can before somebody uses the room, but we need to be educated today before we just stay in a hotel and bring bedbugs home because there really is an epidemic The sheets were musty in the hotel room smell musty. I don’t know if that’s because of dogs are welcomed or they just don’t watch the bedsheets. Be careful before you just sleep on any old bedsheets. We went to the store and got blankets to put on top and use to cover up and pillowcases. We just take extra precaution Overall, you’re never gonna get the room spotless, but you can tell they didn’t vacuum the corners or anything like that housekeeping On the plus side staff was amazing and the breakfast was very good I probably would never stay there again But it did the job and we did enjoy our stay for the fireworks in Green Bay Five stars to the staff at the desk Three stars for housekeeping Two stars for the pest control company

Had a wonderful stay. The pool was the perfect temperature , the room was very clean and the breakfast was satisfying. I will definitely be back.

We had a room at the first floor and it was basic amenities then I booked a deluxe king and all the features they offered worked and performed perfectly fine. Aside from the tv randomly turning off. Still a nice place to stay

We were there for the stadium!

The front desk staff are friendly. There’s a desirable “old school” pool area. It’s clean, but the hot tub jets are a little weak. Decent room, BUT the carpeting needs to be ripped out. That was my least part of our stay - the carpeting. The workout area sufficed. Breakfast was standard fare; I wish more places offered plain Greek yogurt!

The staff was quick and efficient during a large group check in. The hot continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

I loved our room, and our stay! There was only one thing that was unfortunate. The hot tub jets all didn't work that great, or not at all. It was great otherwise! So many things to do close to the hotel. Also a lot of great food! Try the pizza buffet!

Have always liked staying at AmericInn Green Bay WI East. It is clean, has great location, and breakfast is one of the best. Staff is friendly and skilled.

Would stay & recommend again. The whirlpool bath was wonderful

Room was a little loud (running air/furnace even when not running).

my only criticism is using the television in the room. Very difficult to figure how to get what you want with the control that is used.
