Location Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to formally complain about our recent stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Grovetown Augusta Area in Grovetown, Georgia. Our reservation was made through Booking.com, and the conditions we encountered at the property were extremely disappointing and included serious safety and cleanliness concerns. The most troubling issue involved the bathroom door in our room. The door was broken, extremely heavy, and not properly secured. It appeared capable of falling, creating a significant safety hazard. I was traveling with my two children, ages 9 and 13, which made this especially concerning. We immediately reported the problem to the hotel and were told there was no maintenance available because it was the weekend. Because I was genuinely concerned that the door could fall and seriously injure one of my children, my 13-year-old son and I ultimately had to work on the door ourselves to make the room safe. Guests should never be placed in a position where they have to perform repairs themselves because a hotel cannot address an immediate safety hazard. I have attached photographs documenting the damaged bathroom door. Unfortunately, the safety issue was not the only problem. We also encountered multiple roaches in our room. This was not a single isolated insect. We encountered multiple roaches during our stay, and I have attached photographs documenting them. The presence of multiple roaches raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and pest-control conditions of a property being offered to Booking.com customers. Compounding those concerns, housekeeping never visited our room during our stay. Between the multiple roaches and the absence of housekeeping service, the cleanliness and servicing of the room fell well below what I reasonably expected when making this reservation through Booking.com.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was clean. The staff was very helpful and nice. The pool was clean. I liked how there were 2 grills on the deck for grilling out. The room was big and spacious. Very cleaning comfy. I liked how plates, cups, and utensils were provided in the room. The only thing I did not like was how the bathroom door is a sliding door and did not lock. There was no privacy

I do not like anything about this hotel. Due to the fact that they canceled our reservations at the time of check-in without notification. As well as cancel our room on the day of arrival The management of this hotel, this horrible. They canceled R reservations. Even after we had had confirmation saying that they had double booked the room and that the hotel was full. Then, try to kill a different room with only one bed and was going to be at the same rate. As we had paid for 2 Queen beds, even though my mother is 78 years old. Then, they canceled our reservation at the time of checking without any notice and also tried to keep part of the money that we had paid. Even though they canceled our reservation, not us.

This was our second stay at this location for 5 nights. Great location, clean, large rooms. Great breakfast, great pool. Love the kitchens. Comfortable beds. The gym and laundry are great too. Stayed while attending a graduation for Fort Gordon. Highly recommend!
