Unfortunately, our interaction with the overnight front desk employee was extremely strange. We arrived around 10 p.m., checked in, and left for dinner. When we returned to a full parking lot, the front desk employee personally came outside and directed my husband to park under the front awning. Shortly afterward, she knocked on our fourth-floor room while I was bathing my children and claimed our son was so loud he could be heard from the lobby. She then said they’d had “the same issue with him the night before.” I explained that was impossible because we had just arrived and were only staying one night. She insisted she hadn’t checked us in and seemed to have no memory of helping my husband park just minutes earlier. Earlier, I had also seen her sitting in a rolling chair in a dark hallway, wrapped in a blanket with loud music playing. The entire encounter was bizarre and uncomfortable. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well located, but this interaction significantly took away from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Location was nice, property seemed fine. Beds were uncomfortable and no fan in bathroom. Could see mold on bathroom ceiling.

This was out of the control of the hotel, but I was woken up at 1am to a woman banging on her door across the hall. This went on for an hour before I called room service and

A very nice place to stay! We were there 4 nights, we ate breakfast downstairs a couple of times. The usual offerings, but everything was good and clean. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Very convenient to the beach, local shops, and Gulf State Park. Decent continental breakfast and pool area. Balcony facing the beach was nice, but could use new chairs as these had holes all through the seat. Housekeeping timing needs work. Our first full day our room wasn’t serviced at all. When mentioned to front desk, we were asked if we had our DND on door, which we didn’t. We were given clean towels/cloths and asked to return the dirty to them downstairs and set our trash in the hall. Fine. Trash sat in hall til next day. Next day, we returned to our room around 1 and still no service. I’d even left a note and tip from the day before for our housekeeper. When we asked the front desk again, we were then told they finish up by 3, but we’ve never experienced this with other hotels where they start at the end of breakfast. We found this quite inconvenient as we chose a hotel over an Airbnb for the fun of having continental breakfast and our room being cleaned for us. Housekeeping arrived at the door at 2:50pm and dropped off more towels, we emptied our trash and dumped the dirties. At this point we were getting ready for dinner so everything was done at the door. Just an inconvenience for a hotel stay. Maybe this isn’t typical for them and we’d give them another go in hopes of better service next time.

Closeness to the beach. Paid in advance just to have to wait well after 3 to check in. Waited at the desk for a while due to no communication between front desk and housekeeping. Called down to extend stay for another day due to kids not wanting to go home and they told me $250, I booked at the Phoenix beachside down the road for $160. It was okay, we stayed once before this stay and I don’t think I’ll stay again. It wasn’t awful but not as great as it should’ve been. Bathroom toilet pipe exposed and hole in wall behind toilet exposed. Parking lot view and no high floor as I asked for.
