Centennial Plaza Resort Gulfport

As an elderly couple we made a poor choice in selecting this resort. We had hoped to use the lazy river for leisurely float but it was still crowded with kids our bad. The room was smaller than a cruise ship, But the resort is great for family with kids

The property has everything you need on site. Once you park you don’t need to leave. But rooms are extremely hot the air conditioners blow warm so they gave us fans.

We loved the resort water park. Only issue we had was it was so hot in our room! It was like 75 degrees in the room and would not cool down. By the morning it got down to 72 but we couldn't sleep well bc it was just too hot.

If you can handle the terrible smell of mold that you can visibly see in all the buildings and your air-conditioning not working you might enjoy your stay

staff was not knowledgeable. Waitresses could not get a two item request right. We had to get moved because of a faulty A\C. This took 2 days. Then we were moved into a room with ants.

Great water playground, pool, and slide. We take our kids here annually and they absolutely love it! This place will definitely be one of our children’s core memories of childhood.

Clean room, nice staff and enjoyed the pool. Towels are replaced daily, but beds are not made, just fyi for anyone that enjoys that service. It was non-issue for us.

Lazy river, splash pad and large slides are a lot of fun. Unfortunately Splash pad and slides have not been well maintained in the last few years. Some things are not working well anymore and seems like many things need a fresh coat of paint. The rooms are nice. Only issue with rooms is there is nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. There are two main restaurants on site. The Oasis can be slow at times, but food is normally good. The other restaurant, Hippie Fish, is normally pretty good, but my last experience there was bad. Food was disgusting. almost to the point that we may never eat there again Kids Really enjoy the arcade. Only downside is 50% of arcade are claw machines. There are two new Putt Putt courses. Both are really nice

Horrible Stay. Was overcharged for no reason and they couldn't give me a reason. Was put in the wrong room and wrong resort but was told the rooms were exactly the same. When I looked into it the rooms were vastly different and we had to move 2 times already due to them trying to put us in lower tier rooms. Bait and Switch is a practice that they use here. Our room had broken Deadbolt Security Lock and an Ant Infestation. They never sent anyone up to fix the lock so why would I trust them to come fix the ants. I had to put down my own traps and fix there issue. Would never stay in this Resort again.

The food on site was not great yet pricy. We also went to the on site restaurant Hippy Fish. Hair was in two of the plates, and one meal never came out. We waited 45 on the remakes and never got it. Finally we left. Manager attempted to make it right however issues went far beyond her!

I was charged more than I was quoted , brought this to the staffs attention they shrugged they re shoulders and blamed it on Expedia

It was ok. Nice for a short weekend getaway. My kids enjoyed the on-site arcade and waterpark.
