Centennial Plaza Resort Gulfport

This property is GREAT! The only complaint we have is that there was mildew on the a/c vent and on a lampshade in room 6112. The room was clean; however, when walking into the room, you could smell the mildew. I suggest the air filters be changed out and the filters cleaned properly.

The hotel was very nice . Very family oriented.

Wonderful place to stay and very entertaining for the kids. Our only issues is that we booked this place only because of the water amenities and due to bad weather it was closed almost our whole stay. I understand that it wasn’t their fault but I wish they would offer a discounted stay to come back when the weather is nicer!

Our room was very nice with a view of the beach. The bathroom was very tiny, but we didn't mind. Great water park for kids.

Air conditioning isn’t very adjustable. No breakfast unless you buy. Rooms pretty clean but hallways were not. Also several ants were spotted in the room

The water park Tiny room. Had to leave early because the beds were so uncomfortable. Too spread out. Had to use a car to go to the restaurant.

Perfect place for toddlers. This was our second year going, looking forward to next year. More umbrellas are needed by the slide pool and lazy river.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wonderful for families with things to do on property that will keep everyone busy for days. Will be back!

The only thing that we weren't aware of was you have to request that your room be cleaned or it won't get done. I was disappointed because at the rates of the rooms I don't think I should have to ask it should at least be offered daily. Other than this, we give it 4 out of 5 rating. Staff are otherwise very attentive and friendly.

Best place to bring your younger children.

We liked how convenient it was to get to the water playground but our ac in the room broke and they moved us to the very back of the resort which was a bit scary! The back room they put us in had lots of traffic and noise all night. Never again.

I loved how the buildings were spread out . It felt more personal than a condominium, where everyone is stacked on top of each other, fighting for an elevator. I also loved how the kids’ water play area was separate from the adult pool. I would have liked a microwave in my hotel room.

We have been to this property several times over the years. This day had good points, but the lack of staff this time made this a negative experience. We stayed only two nights our room was never cleaned by housekeeping, we did not have do not disturb on the door. Had to ask for towels. Our air-conditioning in our room did not work, this happened before to us. When traveling with children you need a good nights sleep and when it’s 80° in your room, it’s difficult. The pool area and lazy river and waterslides were good but very dirty due to rain and we’re not cleaned during our stay. Highly disappointed. I do not believe we’ll be going back.

All inclusive A bench would be nice in the designated smoking areas.

Moved us to a third room that had a working AC but it didn’t work well. They tried to double charge us for the resort fee that was already paid for.
