Holiday Inn Express Pittsburgh North by IHG

Breakfast was good, staff pleasant, and suited our needs perfectly.

Staff was very nice. The room itself while it was clean for the most part, is very dated. Bed was hard, microwave was 30 yrs old. But both still useful.

They gave me the very first room off the lobby, so I felt my privacy was a concern. Also around midnight while I was sleeping, the photo above the bed came crashing down, scaring the crap out of me. Luckily it didn’t fall on me. The coffee was pretty good though.

Everything was great!! Staff very friendly. Rooms and property very clean and well maintained. Dove products in the room was an awesome touch!! Coffee was excellent!! Thank you!!

Holes in the ceiling of the hallway, mildew on the bathroom ceiling.

The rooms were not updated and there were 2 mouse traps under the bed and my 2 small children were afraid to stay in the room. I asked to cancel the next night they denied it since I booked through a 3rd party. After I contacted the 3rd party the still refused to repay for the next day that I left at 9am.I will never stay here again.

Nice stay.

The buffet breakfast wasn’t great. The hot foods were overcooked, bordering on burnt. The fresh apples were bruised and gashed. You can tell they’re trying. I’d stay again if I couldn’t find another place in the area for the right price.

The room was clean and looked new. The staff were fine—friendly enough. However, the breakfast was disappointing. The food quality was poor, with limited options compared to other hotels. Overall, the breakfast felt cheap and was the biggest letdown of my stay.

Old, and not very clean

Decent hotel, not up to par with the normal of the Holiday Inn Express. Area is pretty poor also.

Staff was quite helpful very pleasant felt comfortable asking questions, they were just great.

Nothing Cleanliness. The floor of my room (which was not carpeted) was sticky and the bathtub was very slippery. The equipment in the fitness center was limited.

The one night pet fee was $100.00. It was obvious it was a pet room, the couch or chair in the room were filthy which I took a picture and shared with the front desk I was told someone would get back with me, never happened.

The breakfast was the best I ever had!!!! Great snacks , great decor and holiday friendly decorations loved it ! Very clean ! The beds are too hard for the backs n the pillows for the necks but still good for few days .

Free Breakfast was very good . Decent variety of food. Room was clean, but little dated. Bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. We cut our stay short by a day just because couldn't take another night sleeping on the bed.
