Holiday Inn Hazlet by IHG

While it is pet friendly, this holiday inn in Hazlet is basic. I would say it’s a utilitarian

The staff was great to work with. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant was exceptional with their food and service. I have stayed at another local hotel for the last few years, but will only stay at the Holiday Inn when I am back in town from now on.

The hotel and room was very clean and the staff was nice. The Mexican restaurant on property was amazing. Very good food and very well priced during happy hour. The room was kind of dark as there were only the bedside lights when the blinds were closed. The bathroom ceiling clearly had water damage from lack of ventilation and the amount of caulking used and not used to hide the gaps on the faucet and handle was actually laughable. The missing towel hangers on the wall in the bathroom was very inconvenient.

Room was nice! Clean and orderly! I’m a contractor and the repairs in bathroom was horrible! But all good!

For a normal hotel room every thing was excellent. I need a handicapped accessible room. There was NO shower chair. Not one built into the wall, not a freestanding shower chair. So I was unable to take a shower. Could have called the front desk but I checked in close to 10pm and I think there was only 1 person behind the desk. Why are all the new beds lately so high up? I’ve noticed this in other hotels also. I’m not a short woman (5’5”), but have a bad back. This makes it difficult for me to jump up or try and climb up into the bed. Oh, and there were only 2 handicap parking spaces! Most of the close spaces were marked for Diamond Elite members. It’s good to take care of your members but my walker and I would have appreciated something closer. I was in pain by the time I got to my room.

It was an ok property. Felt more like a motel.

Economical but you get what you pay for. Relatively clean. If you need a place for the night, it’s safe and convenient. Dated, furniture had some stains. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Strange smell. Odd configuration- window is into the hallway.

The Holiday Inn was great and having my little dog was not an issue. Great price and hotel!!

Good place to stay

Extremely clean and easy

Room had really poor lighting and smelled like cigarettes. I’ve been there several times and didn’t experience this. I will be finding another hotel when I go to Hazlet NJ for professional purposes.

Terrific breakfast in the attached hotel. Very clean hotel and very nice staff.
