Hampton Inn Hernando

The place itself was fine. There were some disrespectful people as guests, but not much the staff can do about that. Guest services was nice and accommodating.

I would have preferred more television channels

With a really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. Everything is clean and up-to-date. All staff members that we encountered were very courteous and helpful. I’d like to give a special shout out to the lovely lady who checked us in on Thursday, August 13 at about 4:30 PM. So sorry I can’t remember her name. It wasn’t busy at the time and we had a lovely chat about the town of Hernando, which my husband and I found very very charming. She was clearly very proud of her town and well she should be. She gave us recommendations on her favorite restaurants. We tried one of them which was great and only a couple of miles from the hotel. Mr. CHEN‘ S kitchen. She suggested takeout. The place is not much to look at, but the food was fabulous and the menu is extremely extensive and very reasonable. Highly recommend. Our room was squeaky clean, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was quite large and very well equipped. The hotel is near a busy road. It was totally quiet in our room. The buffet breakfast was great with many many selections. This is such an added value. The day before, we had breakfast at a Cracker Barrel on the road and it cost us about $35 for a typical breakfast, including tax and tip. Free here, we are headed to Lake Of The Ozarks for vacation and on our way home we will overnight at this hotel. We enjoyed both the hotel and the town of Hernando.

Our stay was great! The staff contacted me on several occasions to see how we were doing and to see if we needed anything. Never had a hotel do that! Would highly recommend it!!

My family and I stayed one night on our way to Gulfport Mississippi. Bed was comfy, (some family members have differing opinions), room was spacious and clean, along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash amenities. The outside pool was a nice touch! Enjoyed the hot breakfast, along with the coffee. Amanda at the front desk was welcoming and super friendly! Would definitely stay again.

Very clean! Room was nice. Hot water! Every employee I walked pass.. greeted and checked on me. I love it here and will be planning a visit again soon! Thanks Hampton for the great hospitality!

Staff wete so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The second dislike was they only left us two washcloths, towels and hand towels. For the price we paid for the room, I would have thought they could afford 4 of each. My poor husband went down to the lobby and did get more, but he should not have had to. Likes: every thing was clean. Even when my husband went for from the third floor to the lobby in socks to get the towels, his socks were pretty clean. I like that they had waffles for breakfast. They had low fat yogurt, which has never happened before and was great. Employees were all nice everywhere I went.

It was convenient to our locations we were visiting. The staff was friendly and engaging with us. We traveled with two children and they were very accommodating. Nothing really. It was great.
