La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hillsboro

This LaQuinta isn't as nice as others I have stayed at; it has a musty mildew smell to it all over the building. The price was more than I feel like it should be for the location and the condition of the rooms.

Parking was excellent, free, and convenient. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had requested an ADA compliant room with 2 queen beds. When entering the room, I noticed the room had a standard bath tub. I asked the desk clerk about it, and she indicated the shower was available in a room with a king size bed if we wanted to change. That was not a viable option for us, but she was willing to change our rooms if we wanted.

Great parking for those of us that were there early or have a handicapped plate, but pretty full near the end of the evening. Rooms were clean, and smelled nice (I have been at other places that smelled worse than a whole pack of dogs. Everyone working there was friendly, but the I never saw either receptionists on their feet. One was snacking on chips the whole time I was there. Breakfast? Well if you like luke-warm scrambled eggs, and wrinkled sausage links, you are in luck. The Texas-shaped waffles are pretty good, but then you use the butter packets straight out of the fridge — they don’t melt very well. I do love their apple juice! My husband says the coffee is always good!

Friendly staff, convenient location, great amenities!

We had roaches in the tub and also landing on my arm. The floor was soaking wet under the A/C and the A/C did not cool the room. No sleep from sweating all night and who wants to take a shower with roaches?

Most of all it was clean and staff was nice

The tv's in the room were not working. Tried to watch a movie and it would stop for no reason and could not finish the movie.

(Room 203) Breakfast needs bacon, not just sausage. Exhaust fan in bathroom needs to come on when light is on. It never turned on.

They have pool towels available

Property was easy access. Staff was excellent - especially the lady in the breakfast area - she was so pleasant and kept everything well stocked. Room was clean and quiet. Will stay here again!

Nice hotel, but housekeeping shouldn’t be cleaning right outside of your room at 8:30 in the morning so in other words, there’s no way you’re gonna be able to sleep in.

This was a nice place to stay.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was so friendly. Location was great also. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower.

Check in staff was very friendly. We had one staff member be very ugly to my 4 year old autistic grandson while at the pool because he grabbed a table top and was going to throw it into the pool. Which we handled the situation. She yelled and said if it happened again he would be banned from the pool.

I especially liked the king suite with the sitting area and the office space in the room. The desk and chair were perfect for getting some work done on the road while my husband was able to sleep. This room was a perfect set up for working remotely while on the road. If I had known sooner, all of our hotels while traveling would have been at LaQuinta! Also - the staff at the front desk was super extra friendly & helpful.

2. They had the pull out couch ready and made up for our kids due to our late arrival without me requesting it! Such a little blessing! 3. Texas shaped waffles! We only stayed one night passing through but it was close to the highway and safe.
