They had cereal but no milk for breakfast, we’re out of several different juices & other things. Not sure if it was the manager, night shift or day shift clerk but someone stole some of our stuff. (Our guest who had a late night check in) Something was left & that morning when asked about it they said there was nothing left. Then proceeded to pull out the empty box that items were in saying they don’t know what happened to it. When we decided to call the police because they said they couldn’t roll the cameras. Magically they showed back up. Anyway bad experience all the way around for 3 of the 4 rooms.

The staff was super friendly and informative of natural sites to visit and where to catch the different types of fish we was looking to catch .

The manager showed up on her day off to try to remedy our bad experience and was able to get a night of our stay comped for our troubles. The floors were filthy upon arrival and throughout our stay. It was clear there was a lack of employees. Upon arrival, the attendant was walking around in her socks without shoes and was wearing pajama pants with her Quality Inn shirt. We had to switch rooms 3 times over 2 hours for our party of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) to finally get rooms next to each other. The elevator had a sign on it asking no more than 2 people on it at a time due to it being unstable. I had my kids use the stairs and only used it for luggage. The bathmat for the bathroom floor was folded into a beautiful seashell, but when I picked it up, water was dripping from it like it had been used—we had only been there 5 mins. The sink was completely clogged, and when someone came out to unclog it, they left the dirty, rusted sink stopper on the counter. When I called to ask for a blanket for my son, I was told there were none. The breakfast was discontinued by 8:15 each morning when we were told food would be out until 10:00 am. The coffee maker had a sign on the side of it that said to touch the screen to stop when your cup was full, or it would overflow. My husband didn’t see the sign until coffee was spilling onto the floor. This was one of those stays we will be talking about for the rest of our lives—not for good reasons.

There is about 1/4 inch gap in the door so you can see outside or inside. Each door had a glow from the sunset coming through. Also meant you could hear a lot going on. Soap in bathroom had been used and there was a cigarette burn on top toilet seat cover. Also had to fix the chain inside tank. in the lobby was gross. The only good thing was the staff

It was a great place to stay! We will be staying here again! There was someone smoking one the floor we were staying on and we reported it and they had someone go up and check on it and spray to get the smell out of the hallway! So that was a plus!

The hotel is one of the best in the area! I attend Mardi Gras every year and have stayed in many different hotels and this location has been the Best by far! AAA+

We had 8 rooms reserved, the location was awesome for Mardi Gras and our big family. We were able to tailgate in the lot in front of the hotel, wonderful access for us, the breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable ! No ice machine working on any of the floors, had to come to front desk and ask for ice it was bagged ice in a front cooler, when it was out there was none. Which really sucked it you wanted an ice in your water or soda !

Check in was slow and poor. Room type was incorrect, keys didn’t work. Hotel carpet was filthy. Sink in room was being held up with a wooden board. Overall grim.
