Comfort Inn Huntingdon

We were at the comfort in for a 2 nights stay. The first night there was a barking dog next to us, the owners were nowhere to be found. The staff tried to locate the owners, but couldn't, so we had to listen to the barking dog for most of the night. And the train, which was about a 100 yd from the hotel, kept me awake most of the night also the wife and I didn't get much sleep the first night. They did move us to a different room, which was a pain, but the room was better. It was quieter but half of the outlets in that room didn't work, and there was a big brown stain in the toilet bowl. Otherwise, things were just great. They did give us $30 off at checkout, but in my opinion, that number was a little low. It's also curious that all the reviews I read before I went to this comfort inn mentioned nothing about the train which affected half of the hotel, fake reviews? Or maybe just a bunch of train lovers wrote the reviews.

Spacious room and bathroom.

The first room they gave us smelled badly of pet odor. They moved us to another room which also had a distinct (bad) smell, but at least it didn't trigger allergies.

The gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Edward?), Was the only one working. Phones rang and he dealt with everyone in order they came with patience and a smile. He was very helpful when we added an extra room at the last minute and when my friend wanted a few more postcards, he ran them up to our room within fifteen minutes of asking. Additionally, he ran and got ice for my mom who doesn't walk very well and the machine was a distance from her room. Super awesome guy there. A real asset for you!

Great Nothing everything was very nice

When booked it online with expedite forna room for three. I pay for the room in advance. When arrived the property. The front desk clerk could not find my confirmation number in the system. The desk called a manager about problem and the manager could find my confirmation number in the system so i was turned away that day and a loss of my money no help by the hotel or expedite too. I'm going book again from this site.

It is close to Juniata college Walls are thin

Clean room, great staff, the breakfast was delicious. I can’t wait to go back next year again.

Quiet area. Room was clean. I like that breakfast is included. Theres also a nice park to sit at across the street. I would be coming here again.

Beds were terribly uncomfortable. Breakfast bar was not stocked.

It was welcoming staff was efficient and pleasant and helpful.

While the more important areas were clean, not all were well cared for. The room was nice, with a decent view of the mountain. The bed was good. The breakfast was under- maintained with items not getting replenished in a timely manner.
