DoubleTree by Hilton Huntington

The front desk staff was nice. The property is outdated and not very clean. The room was not very clean and definitely not a quiet area. The bathroom sink was clogged and would not drain. Definitely not a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious. Waiting time checking in and check out were long. Parking is in an old garage without any attendant and charge of $10 a day.

Property is well maintained with attached parking. Great breakfast and view. Friendly and helpful staff. Loud music from local bar.

Check-in didn't say anything about on-site restaurant, any other hotel amenities or nearby places of interest, parking was inconvenient and in a dirty garage, restaurant meal was 50 minutes late, cold and overpriced.

Friendly staff, clean environment No complaints

This hotel is definitely not up to Double Tree standards. The hotel should have been renovated a few years ago. The hallway leading into the building from the skybridge (parking lot) is filthy. There is no excuse for that. The carpet in my room was so worn that it was stretched to the point of being doubled over in the middle of the room. There were blood stains on the bathroom wall that needed cleaning off. This was Motel 6 at best....... On the other hand, the breakfast was very good. Just FYI there is a $10 parking fee if you want to park in the parking building. Otherwise, it is out on the city street with the possibility of dealing with parking meters, etc....

Filthy was you got away from the lobby. Bugs!! You had to pay to park, pay for breakfast. We didn't stay. We checked right back out after seeing the hallway carpet and condition of the rooms. No way I could've slept there.

Arrived VERY late and was so impressed and thankful that security met me in the parking garage to ensure my safety back into the hotel. THANK YOU!!

Everything...close to eats, bars and entertainment. People lurking around outside.

I checked in to a room with someone else's belonging already there.. they double booked the room.. then found a soiled restroom and when I called they said.. we didn't see anything we were just there.. I said I'm sorry you didn't lift the lid.. but my son went to use the restroom and found .. well you know under the seat

We had a decent stay at the Double Tree but I believe it must be sorely under staffed. The welcome mat at the lobby door was caked with mud, the lobby floor was dirty, the elevator floor and walls were very dirty. The walls on both sides of the hallway were scored/scuffed all the way down tlon both sides. The doors were in need of paint. This could be a great property and the staff were nice, but some TLC is needed.

Bar/restaurant was simply a room with a sterile feel. Rooms were ok. Bathroom had crack in counter.

Convenient for walking around downtown

The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were empty. They are the large pump bottles and attached in the shower. I contacted the front desk and was told that it would be taken care of. It was not. I am handicapped and was told that I would have to park in the garage. Most hotels advise the guest at check in that a hold will be placed for incidentals. This hotel placed the hold but I was never verbally told that a hold was being placed nor the amount. I have stayed at this property since it opened many years ago but after this stay I think that I will not return. It is still nice but the customer service has degraded quite a bit.

Breakfast is too expensive, go somewhere local.

We stayed the night on our way to see our family in Virginia. Parking was a bit of a challenge and we ended up having to pay extra to park. The pool was dirty and not inviting but the rest of the hotel was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again.
