Studio 6 Extended Stay Huntsville, AL - US Space & Rocket Center

I paid for the room in advance. I got to the hotel at 11:15 pm and the lobby was closed. no number to call, nothing. So I paid close to ninety bucks for the privilege of sleeping in my car. Oh, and no refund because they said I was a no show. It will rain up instead of down before I select this chain again.

I will be honest. Room was clean enough to make it feel comfortable. How ever the bed sheets seemed like they could’ve been washed and bed I slept didn’t have a blanket to cover up at nights

My basic issue is that the nonsmoking room I rented clear had had smokers. The room was smelly and the carpet needed cleaning

Nothing. Do not fall for the pictures. They’re deceptive. When we arrived our room needed to be cleaned. We were going to be put in room 103, so I had my husband pull around and we’d wait for the guy to clean it. While waiting some teen busts in that room. Cleaning guy comes, realizes someone is in there and leaves. I go back to the front to ask if that’s the right room.. she checks and comes back and tells me there are no more rooms available and that she hadn’t checked me in yet.. good! So I book another hotel. But now this hotel refuses to reimburse me! Do NOT stay here w/your families. It’s not safe. It took that kid 3 seconds to get in the room. Looked like they might have been squatters.

The price The kitchen did not have any cookware (it was supposed to be a fully stocked). When I went to the office to ask about it, I was told that they didn’t have any cookware to give me. I asked them to call their boss in upper management. Their boss said there was nothing they could do, due to the fact that they had people living at the property who needed the cookware. I then asked for a partial refund of the price I paid for my room considering I would have to eat at restaurants, instead of being able to prep my own meals. I was told there would be an answer within 24 hours from upper management. I went back to the office the next day, the office staff said they never heard back from upper management. I was there for four nights, on the last day of my stay the police showed up to the property on two separate occasions, and rescue along with the police showed up on another occasion. I had to clean my room after I checked in because it was filthy. The floors looked like they had only been swept, not mopped. The kitchen was filthy.

Don’t go! Save your money.

I had stayed here in the past and it was convenient. So close to US space camp to drop off kid. I showed up at 4:30 this time and they said I had no room, although I had a confirmed reservation nonrefundable. I paid for a night I didn't stay. I frantically had to find another hotel. As an out of state traveller, this makes you anxious and I didn't have time for this hassle.

The room was clean. Checkout and checkin were basically nonexistent; the posted hours were not maintained and it was hard to check in late, and nobody was available for checkout. Need to check back on my security deposit. The property was filthy with litter. Some maintenance person woke everyone up with a leaf blower outside all the rooms. On the up side, no moldiness or odd odors, and the linens were clean. AC was good.

Still got charged for a hotel that we couldn't stay at because of no rooms ..

The location was good. The room layout was nice and the shower worked great. The water didn't taste bad. The room smelled like menthol cigarettes despite being labeled as non-smoking, and the previous occupant had covered the smoke detector with a plastic bag that had not been removed. Our clothes picked up the cigarette smell and stank for the rest of our trip. There was only 1 housekeeper and they were insanely overworked, so few things were clean. Lots of the linens were lightly stained, there was a piece of rotting meat in the sink, and the floor was visibly dirty in places. Additionally, we were told upon arrival that because they had to hire a new housekeeper there was an additional $10 fee plus $2 per night utility fee that was not mentioned beforehand. We had to specifically request 6 different items for the room that were missing upon entering, including pillow cases, toilet paper, and bath towels. We were unable to get bath towels for our entire two night stay because the laundry had not been cleaned, so we had to use hand towels after showering. They only offered 1 very thin sheet for the bed, which was not sufficient. The staff did not come up to fix any of these issues when we called the front desk about them, so we had to go down to the office and wait a while for help every time.

Check in was delayed and almost missed the first event we were to attend. The room was filthy, not all the sheets were on the bed, only one set of towels were available, very noisy adjoining rooms up to 120am…

While the room was decent I reserved 2 beds and was told there are none when I checked in, gave me a rollaway bed for the 2nd . This was after waiting over 30 minutes and 2 calls to get someone to check us in .. after showering we tried to get clean towels but was told there is none so I left 1 day early.. definitely won’t stay at this place again

When I arrived on the property the desk person acted like it was a chore for her to do her job. When I had to extend my room a second time due to work I did everything on line and then at 10:30 pm they gave someone a key to room saying their computer showed it being empty and tried to rent it out. After the clerk showed up at my door a few minutes later saying she'd get back with me about the mix up. At 10:45 she called my room waking me up for a 2nd times saying I need to come to the front desk to pay a $2 fee in the next 15 minutes or vacant my room. The room itself wasn't too bad, dead roaches in the cabinets, microwave filthy and no toilet paper. And if you don't mind being approached by prostitutes everytime you pull up in the parking lot.

After staying at the same hotel for 10 years because it is close to the hospital. When it changed ownership it has went down hill. I asked for a bottom floor because of my husband's health he had to have surgery at Huntsville Hospital main that's why we always have to stay close to the hospital and have been staying at this same place for over 10 years now not only for the price but the place has always been clean. NOT anymore not only do they charge you for EVERYTHING now but is not kept clean we were put on the top floor and had to use the elevator it was smoked in. The property is falling apart the roof you can see threw the place where you check in stinks of pot and flowers trying to cover the smell and have to wait 20 minutes to get checked in.
