Tradewinds Hotel LAX Airport

I had stayed at the property the night before, but I was still not allowed to leave my vehicle parked there overnight, which was very inconvenient and defeated one of the main reasons I chose this location. The property itself was very dirty, and the pool was not in usable condition for swimming. The area was also extremely loud throughout the night, with frequent sirens and people walking around at all hours. I did not feel comfortable and was unable to get a good night’s sleep. The room was divided into two areas, but there was only an air-conditioning unit in one of them. The other area became extremely hot and uncomfortable. One of the worst parts of the stay was the bathroom. There were branches coming in from outside near the shower area, and I actually saw spiders crawling in while showering. This was completely unacceptable. Overall, the property looked very different from what I expected based on the photos online. The cleanliness, noise, condition of the amenities, lack of adequate air conditioning, and bathroom conditions made this a horrible experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property to others.

It was a decent room with two bed that we did ask for! Good for concerts next to the Sofi

I got this hotel bc it was closest to Sofi and not too expensive but honestly just get any other hotel, when I came back to the hotel after the concert my door was left open. Before I left, I triple checked the door was locked so I know someone broke into my room. The bed was dirty and stained, the water pressure is horrible and hotel is full of tweakers. The lights don’t work well and everything was dingy and dirty. Plus The hotel keycards do not work at all either. So best take your chances and pay for a better hotel.

The location was great. The convenience to the airport and to local resturants, drug store and convenience stores. I loved the sitting smoking area. The whole infostructure needs to be updated. There were no bugs, the place was clean. The bathtub drainage could use a plunger to speed up the drainage.

This place was not what we expected. There were a lot of homeless people around the area, and other customers were very loud. I think they live there. There were no ice machines available. The walls are extremely thin—you can hear everything—so we did not sleep well. The location, however, was perfect.

Lacked staff support and rooms felt neglected

Shower had spiders because their windows are slats, not a full piece of glass. Tree/bush limbs were growing inside the glass and into the room. No bed stands at all. A small table and 2 plastic chairs is all you get in the room. Front windows are same as back, zero security for your room

To be honest, the only real thing that bothered me was the stains on the wall.
