For a last minute booking close to the Newark airport, this turned out to be an excellent stay. The front desk quickly checked us in after we arrived at midnight from the airport and made sure we had some toiletries. The room was clean and had everything we needed including bottles of water. We also enjoyed their breakfast before heading out.

The staff were superb, welcoming and amazing

Everyone was helpful to use . The was good and we didn’t have time to eat there because we were busy. Other than that it was good

The airport shuttle uses Lyft rather than a traditional shuttle, so make sure your phone has enough battery to track the ride. The process was simple, and I had no trouble getting to and from the airport. One nice bonus is that when returning to the airport, Lyft and Uber can pick you up directly at the terminal, so you don't have to go to the hotel shuttle area. The hotel and rooms were very clean. Some parts of the property feel a little dated/worn, but it looks like renovations are planned, and everything was well maintained. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated having a nice coffee maker. Breakfast was good but standard serve yourself hotel breakfast, and I also received a $14 food and beverage credit that could be used for snacks or at the bar. Since I arrived late, I mostly used it for snacks, which was a nice perk. The hotel is fairly large, so depending on your room location, you may have a bit of a walk. That said, I had a great night's sleep, the staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly. It's not the fanciest hotel, but it's clean, comfortable, convenient, and a great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that wasn't good was the noise caused by staff early in the morning. They come to clean tooms very early with repetitive opening and closing doors of other rooms.

Wow, what an excellent place. Our connecting flight was canceled. We couldn't fly out until the following day. We called this hotel. Even though it was 8 in the morning, they opened a room for us and picked us up from the airport within 10 minutes. They gave us breakfast when we arrived and breakfast the next morning. They also gave us a 14 dollar credit for snacks. The staff was excellent. They took us back to the airport the next day! Great service!! Safe location!!

I stayed a total of 8 nights, 4 were added daily. I found the front desk staff to be professional and efficient. 2 really stood out unfortunately I dont have names but they were both young adults (female African American and male African American) both worked toward the end of the week were exceptional and went above and beyond to make my stay. They are the reason I chose to extend my nights. My room was adequately cleaned but very worn, the cabinet did not close and was shredding on the edges. On the last night I SAW a roach in the bathroom I had to unpack all my luggage shake everything out and repack before check out when i informed the desk. The Trellis bar was disappointing last night (7/30)due to the bartender. He appeared confused as if he had a diifficult time understanding what i was saying and hesitant, when he saw my complimentary food and drink vouchers. I asked for an apple martini he made it with gin. I hate gin ( the bartender said he was following hotel recipe) I was going to try to drink it until a nice lady who was sitting at the bar insisted he will make another to make me happy. The next time I asked for just tequila and pineapple juice he gave me what tasted like a mix of gin and another spirit definitely not tequila and sugar free juice which i also dislike. I pretended to like it so that I could get back to my room to dumped it down the sink. If I had paid extra for the drink I would have been upset. The complimentary breakfast was good.

Everything was amazing! Receptionist was fantastic! Conveniently located near a grocery store. Airport shuttle was a huge plus! My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff was in the hallway screaming and laughing before 8am.
-
Everything was quite satisfactory!

The property was old and dated. The team did nothing to help us especially the young woman on the morning shift July 28. The phones in the room didn’t work to contact front desk concierge or sales. As a matter of fact I didn’t see a concierge or a sales departmwnt. Carpets smelled and I’m sure the AC was old. It buzzzzzed all night long.

Had to stay here after some unfortunate travel issues. They had a very clean washer and dryer for us to use. The staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good. They also will call you a Lyft to the airport free of charge with your stay that was a great touch. They made a bad day feel better!

Good overall hotel with close airport access
-
About 20 minutes from EWR. We appreciated the Lyft ride as we were outside shuttle hours. Can’t comment on breakfast as we left too early.

Would not recommend or return.
