Room was clean, bed could’ve been cleaner. Otherwise the place was great. And I would definitely stay here again. Staff was great and very helpful and friendly. Great location. Pool was great. Tennis court was fun to play on. Wish I’d used the fire pit the first night we’d been there, that would’ve been nice. Breakfast was good too, eggs, bread, sausage, bacon, plenty of good foods to eat. Kids liked it a lot too. Plenty of space for the 3 of us. I’d stay here again!!

The staff’s is very nice. And everything was clean. This is the second time I have stayed here with my family. The first year it was just a few cob webs and uncovered holes in the bottom of the in ground pool. This year the holes in the pool were still there and I got my foot on one. In my room the lever to go from bath to shower was broken and had to be set just right to get the water pressure right. Then the toilet was not level. It would rock when you sat on it. The sink hole and basin didn’t line up. There were broken backs on the chairs in the room. The rooms have obvious years of wear and tear. Dings in the walls and furniture which aren’t really a big deal. Over all the place could use a little cosmetic love but it is safe and clean.

Older rooms. No elevator. Nice breakfast

Also we paid $180 per night and two day before we were going and after my free cancellation period the room I got (King w/Sofa bed) was only $99. We did bring that up but he said nothing and went to continue cleaning rooms. I will say our room was nice although the King bed was the most uncomfortable my wife and I ever slept in. We liked the balcony (we had a back room) and enjoyed sitting out there and watching the nice stream, trees etc. Demetri and Denise

We stayed for 3 nights in August and really enjoyed our stay. it was close to all the hikes we wanted to do, and very close to some really great restaurants too. The pool was very refreshing after a long day, but it could use a bit of TLC. The breakfast was very good, our view of the creek/river from our balcony was beautiful, and the air-conditioning in our room was much appreciated.

Our second time staying here and we will keep returning. The owners are amazing people, the beds are comfortable, the pool is clean and warm and there are great local places to spend time and relax!

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views of the mountains. Decent continental breakfast. Hotel rooms could use some updating, but the grounds were in wonderful condition and well kept.

While this hotel is a "budget hotel" with the usual budget breakfast fare in the morning and with rooms that are relatively small (albeit very clean), this will be my favorite hotel from now on to take my grandchildren when they visit Storyland. The manager is amazing: always present, making sure everyone is happy and taken care of. Little touches like picnic tables in their lovely landscaped gardens, nice doors out to the yard for children to roam, nice pool with lounge chairs, a GREAT tennis court, drinks in their lounge day and night for guests to enjoy, a piano to play in the living room -- and many other small touches that make this a special place. Bravo to the manager!

I did not like that at 9 pm when we arrived to check in, I was charged an additional $45 for my son's age for " breakfast" when it was suppose to be free breakfast. But I paid as it was late and had been driving for over 2 hours. I also didn't like being told we all needed to come out and eat all together not one by one, like why does that matter? Bathroom did not look like it had been cleaned/mopped.
