Courtyard by Marriott Jekyll Island

They give $30 of credit to spend on the resort. Views are beautiful and the beach is quiet.

On the first night, I had a few issues with the restaurant staff, but management handled the situation professionally by comping my meal, which I appreciated. After returning home, I noticed my credit card had been charged for the room even though it had already been paid for. I contacted the manager, who apologized and explained that the charge was made by a new employee who was still in training. He assured me that the charge would be credited back to my card. Despite the billing error, I appreciated the manager’s prompt response and willingness to resolve the issue.

The elevators were dirty and still dirty the next day. And the floors in the check In and eating areas were dirty. We never saw any cleaning workers . The ladies bathrooms were dirty and outside garbage over flowing in the cans. The best thing was the pool. It was refreshing, and nice sitting area. For the price I will not be back.

I was surprised by this property in the best way! Perfect for a little get away! Everything you need in one place! Very clean! Great food and drinks! Perfect beach access!

Great stay. The beachfront room on the 4th floor had amazing views. The bikes available onsite were wonderful to explore the island. Good value.

On the day, they were to clean my room and make bed. All they did was leave some fresh towels. They did not make the bed or replace my coffee. I had to call down to front desk. They finally brought it up to me and only brought me decaf coffee and 2 cups with no creamers or sugars. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. Also left two gold earrings in my room and the manager suggested that I contact a website to report it. Not sure why he couldn’t check the housekeeping as it was only 4 PM when I reported the issue. I will be looking for someplace new to stay next time.

Beautiful hotel, great scenery, easy beach access. Need I say more?

The location can’t be beat. The room was good except I noticed that it was not swept very well. Plus the use of the resort credits was not very clear on how you could use them.

Staff was friendly unable to find at times. Pool was refreshing. Food was adequate. Parking a breeze. Female at bar on the evening was nice.

Our stay was great … meal was excellent … all staff was curious with the exception of the guy working at the bar … he was only waiting on people seated and I kept trying to order and he just ignored us . Finally a girl came over and apologized and took our order . But the rest of the staff was wonderful .

Checked in early, which was very helpful. Very nice amenities. Live music on Saturday night in the bar was an unexpected bonus! Will come again.

Pillows just not good, at least for me, 1 side of the electrical controls didn't work, it happens,

Clean and very nice. We would have loved to have had more time to enjoy all the amenities they had onsite.

Food was very good - breakfast and dinner. Location and view of property and ocean from room balcony was exceptional. Staff was friendly and accommodating 99% of the time. Pool was perfect for relaxing. Handicapped ramp to the beach in addition to stairs is a main reason we choose this hotel over others on the beach. Not crazy about the comfort of the beds. Upgrade the bed comfort and you will have a home run!
