Courtyard by Marriott Jekyll Island

A very beautiful property that we enjoyed immensely. The staff was very friendly and helpful with exception to check-in person, who obviously didn't want to be there.

Wonderful place to stay with family while visiting Jekyll Island. Friendly and professional staff. Great amenities and well kept property. Close to many great local businesses and tourist attractions. My tavorite is the pool and beach access for sure! Look forward to returning again!

Every thing was done to perfection

Enjoyed the pool area and the bike rental.

The restaurant at the hotel was clean and had good food and drinks. It was pretty quiet which was nice.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. There was something on the rug when we arrived and spoke to a gentleman about it and he said he had to try to clean it when it was wet but it is some kind of ink or maybe even red nail polish. The pool area was clean and enjoyed just walking out to the beach. Peter and Troy were very friendly and we enjoyed them taking us on the shuttle to two locations for dinner while we were there.

Bring your own beach towel. The ones they give you are thin and super small.

Great stay minus the fire alarm going off 2-3 times early in the morning.

Downside a 2hr chill mini fridge only - not usual on a hot island vacation Bar area not kept very clean with lots of sticky frozen drinks spillage Bikes are great but could do with some maintenance

The only complaint is the bed sheets and shower curtain need replacing and the sink and tub didn’t drain properly but other than that, it was a wonderful stay

Your information also states these items are complimentary. We actually are paying $15 for chairs and $15 for the umbrella. Pillows had no substance they were beyond soft. They really needed to be replaced. The facility charges a resort/destination fee daily, but our rooms are not cleaned daily, and towels area changed every third day. This did not happen. We had to go to the front desk for clean towels and discard the others ourselves. While on the beach we had persons set up for a wedding literally next to where were seated. The people next to us stated they would not be moving as they had paid to be there until 5pm. We understand they were prepping for wedding, but our relaxation was disturbed with hammering and discussions. The only pros were some friendly staff, the shuttle service, and a beautiful ocean view. I have stayed at other Bonvoy's and made my decision to stay at this location because of that. However, we were very disappointed. While I love and plan to return to Jekyll Island, I would be extremely hesitant to stay there.

Nice location on the beach. Lovely beach view from our balcony. Beds were comfortable and room is spacious. You could rent beach chairs and an umbrella for the day. Food, bar was tasty. Starbucks only open until 11am which was odd. Nice they provide a shuttle to bring you on the island to restaurants and pick up. No towels to be found by the pool. Glad I brought my own.

The pool and access to the beach was great. The property was clean and great amenities. The staff!! From check in to check out, the staff was unfriendly. No smiling, no enjoy your stay, no conversational from any staff members. The bartenders were rude, seemed like it was a nuisance for them to make a drink, and I’m a great tipper too!!

They give $30 of credit to spend on the resort. Views are beautiful and the beach is quiet.

On the first night, I had a few issues with the restaurant staff, but management handled the situation professionally by comping my meal, which I appreciated. After returning home, I noticed my credit card had been charged for the room even though it had already been paid for. I contacted the manager, who apologized and explained that the charge was made by a new employee who was still in training. He assured me that the charge would be credited back to my card. Despite the billing error, I appreciated the manager’s prompt response and willingness to resolve the issue.

The location was awesome! The room was not cleaned when requested. My husband was told we had to stay at least five days before the room was cleaned.

Restaurants and breakfast were ok not great. Long line for coffe. No muffins or other choices. Breakfast at hotel resturant was slow not many choices especially for kids. Outside area was nice but needs to be screened in Choices wait time
