Quality Inn Johnson City I-26 exit 17

Warning! Do not stay here. We checked in on a Friday and had to quick change and go to an event we came into town for. When we walked in the room there was an overwhelming heavy smell of cleaner. Thought maybe it was just because they cleaned the room. Nope, we came back 3 hours later and the room still had the smell. It was making me cough, it was so strong. Went to take a shower before getting into bed, looked up at the ceiling while shampooing my hair and the whole ceiling had black mold, all over. It was awful. It was late so we went to bed and figured we would talk to the office in the morning. Went and talked to the front desk, no apology or shock from the employee. He said he could send maintenance in to spray something and clean the ceiling and it would take 5-10 min. 1) I have never heard of getting rid of black mold in 5-10 min. 2) I couldn’t handle another strong odor of cleaner. I woke up with a horrible headache already. We ended up leaving and getting a new hotel for the rest of the weekend. No refund, no discount, no apology, nothing from the hotel. Oh, and the bathroom door didn’t even close and the pool is green, This place is disgusting. The health department needs to shut this dump down

It appears they are working at updating the rooms however it appears quite low quality work. It's okay for a few less expensive nights, beds were good, new flooring in our room. However TV box and all the wires hanging out below the TV, picture on the wall in an odd position looked like it was trying to cover something. Vanity sink had no stopper faucet had no aerator. Under rim of toilet dirty and stained. Don't count on much for breakfast, sausage patties, watery bagged scrambled eggs, three cold cereals, did have a waffle maker, and toaster. This morning at 7:30 were no eggs or sausage, no bread for toast, no spoons, in 4 nights we were there never had napkins, just boxes of tissues set out. Not terrible but not near great.

This property is in poor condition. There is no gym, and the photos are outdated. The hotel appears run-down, with insufficient staff. There is black mold throughout the hotel, despite it being marketed as a non-smoking property. Trash cans were overflowing, and the entire hotel has a strong, unpleasant odor. The Continental breakfast was disappointing, with expired food and moldy bread. I am still awaiting a response from Expedia management regarding my complaint.

My non smoker room smelled like a long term smoking room. My adult daughter couldn't visit with me because of her allergies.

They charge more for rooms I booked on booking . Come it was $699. Before $100 deposit they took it out of my bank account and would not return it said it was by charge that is bull then I emailed them before ask if I could pay at property and the hotel told me yes then took from bank account made me negative ughhh don’t stay here they take your money

We didn’t even stay. We got our room switched 3 times before we left the same day. First room was nasty second room had no air. Last room had bed bugs so we left. Trying to get a refund

The floor in my room was filthy. There was human feces on my sheets that I had to request to have changed. I brought it to the attention of the manager and she did not allow any refund. The washing machine was not working so I had to go to an off site laundry to do my laundry. Do not stay at this property. Pay the extra ten or twenty dollars to have a better, cleaner stay!

The room was so disgusting that I checked out early. They were going to charge me for the 2 nights that I didn't stay. After spending most of Thursday going between Expedia and the hotel, the hotel finally agreed to only refund me for 1 night. While talking to the hotel about a refund she tried to tell me that I stayed in room 321 while I actually stayed in room 121. Btw the hotel only had 2 floors so I'm not sure where room 321 was. Expedia should take this hotel off their site!
